Domus GT-659 Monaco Twin Head Medium Post

The Domus GT-659 Monaco is a twin-head post light — 1,980 mm tall, 860 mm wide, 650 mm deep, IP43, taking two E27 lamps, in die-cast aluminium with moulded acrylic lenses. Five powder-coated colours.

• ✅ Height, width and depth are all present — ⭐ so you can set this one out on a drawing without asking us first.
• ⚠ Which is not true of most of the range, where a width or a depth is missing.
• ⭐ And it is a useful reference for the others: 860 mm is the twin-head width throughout, and 650 mm the depth.

⭐ The combination we would specify most often

• ⭐ 1,980 mm is the useful height — the lantern clears eye level, so it lights the ground rather than glowing at you.
• ⭐ And two heads spread that across 860 mm, so one fitting covers a driveway width with two overlapping pools instead of one bright centre.
• ⭐ Together that is more coverage from one footing than any other Monaco post at a sensible scale — the 2,350 mm twin throws wider still but dominates a modest frontage.
• ⚠ 860 mm needs room. On a narrow verge the single-head medium post at 650 mm is 210 mm tighter.

✅ Its height confirms how the range is measured

1,980 mm — ✅ the same as the single-head medium post, and the 1.98 m the datasheet publishes. ⭐ Adding a head does not change the post height, so the recorded figure describes the shared standard. ✅ And the Monaco size names are reliable in both directions, which is not the case in every Domus range.

• ⛔ No maximum lamp wattage, footing depth, base plate size or wind rating. ✅ 8–10 W E27 LED in each, warm at 2700–3000 K, enclosed and damp rated.
• ⚠ Check the lamp base. ✅ This is E27; ⛔ the Chester, Avignon and most Vienna ranges are B22 bayonet rather than E27, and the two do not interchange.
