The Domus GT-652 Monaco is a curved-arm downward wall light — a 247 mm lantern on a curved arm, 500 mm high, IP43, taking one E27 lamp, in die-cast aluminium with a moulded acrylic lens. Five powder-coated colours.

⭐ How far it stands off the wall — and which recorded figure answers that

• ⚠ The listing records two dimensions that could both mean “projection” — a depth and a length — which is unhelpful on the one question that decides whether a wall light fits a passage.
• ⭐ Comparing the two arm styles settles which one moves. Depth changes with the arm (420 against 290 mm); length is 370 mm on both. ⭐ So the depth is the arm-dependent figure — and on the curved arm it is 420 mm.
• ⚠ 420 mm is a substantial projection. Beside a doorway, in a narrow side entry or along a path people pass close to, measure it against the traffic first.
• ⭐ Ask us if it is tight — the straight-arm GT-654 projects 130 mm less and takes the same lantern and lamp.

⭐ A curved arm points the lantern down, and that is the point

• ⭐ The arm sweeps out and down, so the lantern hangs below the bracket rather than sitting level with it.
• ⭐ Which puts light on the ground where you need it — a doorstep, a path, a set of stairs — instead of on the wall above.
• ⭐ Combined with the acrylic lens directing downward, this is the Monaco fitting that lights a threshold properly.
• ⚠ It also means the lantern is lower than the fixing point. ⭐ Mount it higher than you would a straight-arm bracket — the 500 mm overall height is mostly the drop from the fixing to the lantern.

• ⛔ other Domus lantern ranges are B22 bayonet — the Chester, Avignon and most of the Vienna range — and B22 and E27 do not interchange.
• ⭐ If you are replacing an existing Domus lantern, check its base first and tell us; we will match it.
• ✅ 8–10 W E27 LED, warm at 2700–3000 K, enclosed and damp rated. ⛔ No maximum wattage is recorded; ask us above about 15 W.

• Over external stairs, for the same reason.
• Traditional and period elevations, matched with Monaco posts and pendants.
• ⚠ Not in a narrow passage — 420 mm is a real projection; the straight-arm GT-654 is 130 mm tighter.
• ⚠ IP43, so not a wash-down or coastal front-line position.
