xThe Domus EMIT-55 RGBW is a 55 mm colour-changing inground light — 2.5 W, CREE LED, IP67, IK10, CRI ≥90, with nine fascias in four metalware finishes. Cutout Ø43 mm.
⛔ It needs a controller and a driver, and neither is included
- RGBW has no control of its own. It requires an RGBW colour controller and a 24 V constant-voltage driver, wired in parallel.
- ⭐ The datasheet names the controller: CHAM-BT-RF-5C, SKU 20141, stocked in this catalogue.
- ⭐ And that receiver is what the CHAM-REM-5C handheld remote pairs with — the remote that does nothing on its own. The chain is: 24 V driver → CHAM-BT-RF-5C → these fittings, with the remote in your hand.
- ⚠ Ordering the fittings alone gets you lights that will not change colour. Tell us the layout and we will quote the chain.
⛔ The fascia lumen table exists for the tri-colour version and not for this one
- ⭐ The tri-colour EMIT-55's datasheet gives lumens for all nine fascias, and the spread is 54 times — 135 lm on Round Open against 2.5 lm on 1 Way.

⛔ The cutout changes with the cannister
Ø43 mm without, Ø48 mm with. ⚠ Decide before you cut — the cannister is a variant of the separate EMIT 55mm Accessories listing, and opening out a hole in paving afterwards is a real job. ⭐ The cannister gives a sealed sleeve that keeps soil off the body and makes the fitting removable later.
⭐ RGBW rather than RGB — the W matters
- ⭐ RGBW adds a dedicated white emitter to the red, green and blue.
- ✅ Which is why it can be used as an ordinary light as well as a colour one. Mixing white from R, G and B gives a thin, slightly off white; a dedicated white LED gives a proper one.
- ⭐ So a run of these can sit on plain white most of the year and change colour when it is wanted — rather than being a colour feature that never looks right in normal use.

No figure is published for the RGBW version in any source, and this listing records none. The tri-colour EMIT-55's datasheet does give a full table — 135lm on Round Open down to 2.5lm on 1 Way, a 54× spread — and the same nine fascias are offered here, so the same relationship almost certainly applies. What does the W in RGBW add?
A dedicated white emitter alongside the red, green and blue — and it matters more than it sounds. Mixing white from R, G and B gives a thin, slightly off white; a dedicated white LED gives a proper one. So a run of these can sit on plain white most of the year and change colour when it is wanted, rather than being a colour feature that never looks right in normal use. What size hole do I cut?
Ø43mm without the cannister, Ø48mm with it. Which fascia should I choose?
Ask what the fitting is for. The open fascias light a surface — a wall, a tree, a column. The multiway, Halo and Ring fascias are markers meant to be seen rather than to illuminate. On a colour-changing fitting that distinction matters more than usual: a colour-changing marker reads as a deliberate effect, where a colour-changing floodlight can look like a nightclub.
Is it 12V or 24V?
Specify 24V. The RGBW datasheet says 24V DC; our product record says 12–24V, which is the range for the tri-colour version of the same body. If you have an existing 12V garden system, ask us before ordering — it is a system decision and getting it wrong costs the fittings.
Can it be walked or driven over?
Yes — IK10 is the top impact rating and IP67 covers water, which together make it a genuine inground fitting rather than a surface light in a recess. IP67 is temporary immersion rather than permanent, so a position that holds standing water for long periods is still not ideal even at this rating.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.
