These are the accessories for the Domus EMIT-25 inground light — lenses, a diffuser, a honeycomb louvre and the cannister. Seven options, sold individually.
It has no datasheet and no recorded fields whatsoever — one of only two products in the entire Domus catalogue with a completely empty record.
| Lens | Use it for |
|---|---|
| 19° | A tall narrow subject — a column, a palm trunk, a pier |
| 24° | A narrow subject at closer range |
| 36° (standard) | General uplighting — supplied with the fitting |
| 60° | A wide low subject — a shrub, a wall panel, a bench |
Accessories for the Domus EMIT-25 inground light: honeycomb louvre, diffuser, 19° / 24° / 36° / 60° lenses, and the cannister. Sold individually. ⛔ This listing records no fields at all and has no datasheet — everything here is from the EMIT-25 fitting's verified datasheets. ⭐ The cannister changes the fitting's cutout from Ø19 mm to Ø24 mm, so it is a decision to make before the hole is cut. ⭐ The lenses change the beam angle, which means the EMIT-25's beam is an accessory choice rather than a fixed property.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
It gives the fitting a sealed sleeve to sit in, which keeps soil and water off the body and — more usefully — makes the fitting removable later without digging. Because the sleeve surrounds the fitting, the hole has to be bigger: the EMIT-25 takes Ø19mm without a cannister and Ø24mm with one. That makes it a decision to take before you cut, not after, because a Ø19mm hole cannot later accept a cannister without being opened out.
Match it to the shape of what you are lighting. 19° for a tall narrow subject — a column, a palm trunk, a pier. 24° for a narrow subject at closer range. 36° is the general angle and is what ships with the fitting. 60° for a wide low subject — a shrub, a wall panel, a bench. The useful part is that you can change it after the fitting is in the ground, which matters because you rarely know the right angle until the planting has grown.
They solve the same problem in opposite ways. The diffuser softens the source into a glow, which suits a fitting seen directly at close range — a step edge, a seating area. The honeycomb louvre does not spread the light at all; it blocks the view of the source at an angle, so the beam still lands where you aimed it but you do not see the emitter walking past. Use the honeycomb where the light matters and the glare does not; use the diffuser where the fitting itself is part of the look.
Neither datasheet quantifies it, and we would rather say so than estimate. Both reduce output — that is inherent to what they do — but by how much is not published. If you are working to a lux level or a specific effect, ask us and we will get the figures from Domus before you commit to a quantity.
Because the listing records nothing at all — no fields and no datasheet, which makes it one of only two products in the whole Domus catalogue with a completely empty record. Everything on this page comes from the EMIT-25 fitting's own verified datasheets and from what these components do. If you are not certain which part you need, ask us before ordering: these are small items where the wrong one is a wasted order.
No — the EMIT-55 has its own accessories listing with its own cannister and lens sizes, and the cutouts differ (Ø43mm and Ø65mm against this Ø19mm). Ordering EMIT-25 accessories for a larger fitting will not work. Tell us which fitting you have and we will point you at the right page.
Yes, and that is the main reason to know these exist. The fitting ships at 36° and the other angles are bought here, so a run that turns out to be too wide or too narrow can be corrected without lifting anything out of the ground. On an inground installation that is worth a great deal — the alternative is digging up a finished surface.
