The Domus DRIVER-24V-IP67-DIM is a dimmable outdoor 24 V DC constant-voltage LED driver — five sizes from 30 W to 200 W, rated IP67.
✅ This is the part that makes 24 V LED strip dimmable. The strip itself has no dimming — the driver does it. If you have specified PLEX-COB or any other 24 V strip and want it on a dimmer, this is the component that has to be in the order, and neither product page said so.
Add up the wattage of everything on the run, then add 20%.
✅ Tell us the strip, the run length and the dimmer and we will size the set together. Voltage drop over a long run matters too, and a wattage total does not capture it.
✅ This is the single most common source of trouble in strip installations, and it is much cheaper to settle now than after the joinery is closed up.
Dust tight and protected against temporary immersion. That lets the driver sit outdoors, in a garden bed, in a pit, or anywhere that floods briefly.
⚠ Mount it where you can reach it. A driver is the part most likely to need replacing in the whole installation. One buried under paving, sealed into joinery or above a fixed ceiling is a problem for later — and on a dimmable driver, a fault is more likely to present as odd dimming behaviour than as total failure, which is harder to diagnose from a distance.
⚠ What we cannot tell you. The physical dimensions and weight are not recorded for any of the five sizes, and neither is the warranty. On a component that has to fit inside an enclosure, a cavity or a joinery void, size is the figure a specifier needs first.
Ask us before you detail an enclosure and we will get the dimensions from Domus. For reference, the non-dimmable 12 V 20 W unit in this range is 150 × 44 × 32 mm — ⚠ but these are larger and higher powered, so do not plan around that figure.
24 V DC constant voltage, dimmable, in 30 / 60 / 100 / 150 / 200 W. IP67 — dust tight, temporary immersion. Size at total load + 20% headroom. ⚠ Confirm the dimming protocol against your dimmer before ordering. Not interchangeable with 12 V. ⚠ Physical dimensions, weight and warranty are not recorded for any size — ask us before detailing an enclosure.

Yes — the strip itself has no dimming; the driver does it. If you have specified PLEX-COB or any other 24 V strip and want it on a dimmer, this is the component that has to be in the order, and neither product page said so.
Add up the wattage of everything on the run and add 20%. Ten metres of 10 W/m strip is 100 W, so you want the 150 W driver — not 100 W of load on a 100 W driver. A driver run permanently at its ceiling gets hot, and heat is what kills electronics. Do not massively oversize either: some dimmable drivers behave poorly at very low load, which shows as flicker at the bottom of the dimming range.
Tell us which dimmer and we will confirm. Dimmable drivers come in several kinds — TRIAC, 0–10 V, DALI, PWM — and they are not interchangeable. This is the single most common source of trouble in strip installations, and it is far cheaper to settle before the joinery is closed up.
No. A 24 V driver on 12 V strip will destroy it. Check the strip’s rating before ordering — and note that 24 V is generally the better choice for strip anyway: less resistive heat, longer possible runs before voltage drop, and half the current for the same power.
IP67 — dust tight and protected against temporary immersion, so it can sit outdoors, in a garden bed, in a pit or anywhere that floods briefly. Even so, mount it where you can reach it: a driver is the part most likely to need replacing, and on a dimmable one a fault more often shows as odd dimming behaviour than total failure, which is harder to diagnose from a distance.

They must all be dimmed together and matched to each other, or the sections will not track and you will see steps in brightness along the run. Tell us the total length and we will plan the split.
