The Domus DRIVER-24V-IP67 is an outdoor non-dimmable 24 V DC constant-voltage LED driver — IP67, in eight wattages from 20 W to 500 W, with 1 m flex and plug.
| Wattages | |
|---|---|
| The datasheet prose | 20, 30, 60, 100, 150, 200, 240, 300, 400, 500 W |
| This listing's options | 20, 60, 100, 150, 200, 300, 400, 500 W |
Outdoor non-dimmable 24 V DC constant-voltage LED driver. IP67. 20 / 60 / 100 / 150 / 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 W. Efficiency up to 89%, PF >0.95. 150 × 44 × 32 mm, 240 g. Working range −40 °C to +60 °C, 20–90% RH non-condensing. Secondary-side short circuit, thermal overload, over-temperature and over-voltage protection. 1 m flex and plug. Parallel wiring. ⛔ Its datasheet lists 30 W and 240 W sizes that this listing does not sell — ask us if you need either. ⛔ Our record lists 20 W, the smallest, and calls this an indoor product. ⭐ Its 5-year warranty is in the datasheet prose and in no field.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
For a long run, 24V — and no listing explains why. At the same power, 24V draws half the current of 12V, which means half the volt drop over the same cable. Volt drop is the usual reason a long low-voltage garden run disappoints: the fittings at the far end are visibly dimmer, and once the cable is buried there is nothing to do about it. But the fittings must be 24V — a 12V fitting on a 24V supply fails immediately. Check every fitting on the run before choosing; this is a system decision, not a driver one.
It lists ten sizes — 20, 30, 60, 100, 150, 200, 240, 300, 400 and 500W — and this listing sells eight, missing the 30W and the 240W. That is a stocking gap rather than a data error: the sizes exist, but a specifier reading the datasheet will design around one and then find it unavailable. Ask us if you need either and we will find out whether Domus can supply it. Otherwise round up — the 60W where the sheet suggests 30W, the 300W where it suggests 240W. Headroom is never wasted on a driver.
Add up the load and allow about 20% headroom, because running a driver at its rated maximum shortens its life. And note the current: at 500W and 24V you are drawing over 20 amps, which is still a real cable calculation even though it is half what a 12V equivalent would pull. Above about 150W, several smaller drivers near their loads usually beats one large one at the origin.
IP67 is dust-tight and rated for temporary immersion, so yes — a genuine garden-bed rating rather than just a rain rating. But temporary immersion is not permanent: a driver sitting where water stands after every storm will fail eventually, so mount it above the water line or in a drained enclosure even at IP67.
Its working range is −40°C to +60°C at 20–90% RH non-condensing, and the +60°C ceiling is the figure that matters in Australia — a driver in an enclosure in full summer sun runs far hotter than the air around it. Worth knowing that the dimmable 12V IP67 driver in this range only goes to +45°C, so where heat is a concern and dimming is not needed, a non-dimmable driver like this one is the more robust choice.
Secondary-side short-circuit protection, thermal overload, over-temperature and over-voltage protection — all stated in the datasheet prose and none of it in a product field. The short-circuit protection is the one that earns its keep in a garden: a low-voltage cable cut by a spade shuts the driver down instead of damaging it, and that happens more often than people expect.
Five years, stated in the datasheet prose as a replacement warranty, and in no product field. It is the longest term in this Domus catalogue and it matters most on a driver — the driver is what fails first in a garden installation and the fittings outlive it. On a buried run the labour to reach it dwarfs the part. Ask us to confirm it in writing with your order.
