The Domus DECO-28-DALI is the DALI-dimmable version of the 28 W DECO-28 downlight — Ø200–210 mm cutout, 90° beam, CRI ≥80, Epistar SMD. Black or white.

• ⭐ The top colour temperature is different and every output figure is about 100 lm lower. These are two fittings, not one fitting with two drivers.
• ⚠ Which matters on a job. Substituting the DALI version into a layout designed around the TRIO changes both the light level and the coolest available setting — and 5000 K against 5700 K is visible side by side.
• ⛔ Do not mix the two in one space at the cool setting.

⭐ What DALI buys you, and when it is worth it

• ✅ DALI is a digital bus, not a dimmer. Each fitting has an address, so a building system can set levels per fitting or per group without rewiring the circuits.
• ⭐ Which is the reason to choose it over the TRIO's mains dimming on anything commercial: zoning, scheduling, daylight linking and occupancy control all become configuration rather than wiring.
• ⚠ It needs the bus. A DALI fitting on a site with no DALI system is just a downlight you cannot dim. Confirm the control system exists before specifying it.
• ⭐ If the site has DALI but the strip or cove does not speak it, the CHAM-DIM-DALI-5C interface in this catalogue is the component that bridges the two.
