• ⛔ Confirm the lead time and availability with us before you order, not after. Domus asks for that specifically on this product.
• ⭐ Cut to length is the reason to want it. A profile supplied at your exact run length has no joints — and on a continuous lit line, a joint is the thing the eye finds.
• ⚠ Measure the run before ordering, not after the joinery is in. A cut-to-length profile is made to your figure; if the figure is wrong there is no trimming it back into stock.
• ⚠ A made-to-order cut is normally not returnable the way a standard length is. Ask us to confirm the terms with your order.

⭐ What a corner profile does that no other profile can

• ✅ It sits in a 45° internal corner — where a wall meets a ceiling, where a cabinet carcass meets a wall, along the back edge of a shelf.
• ⭐ Which throws light diagonally across both surfaces rather than straight down one. That is the effect a cove gives, from a component 16 mm square.
• ✅ It hides the strip completely from below. In a corner the extrusion is tucked into the angle, so you see lit surfaces and no source at all.
• ✅ And it needs no rebate or channel. A recessed profile needs the substrate routed out; this one just fixes into the corner — which on existing joinery or a finished wall is the difference between a job and a renovation.
• ⚠ The corner must be a real 45°. On a plastered wall-to-ceiling junction with a coved or rounded finish it will not sit flat.

• ⛔ “Built-in LED” as the bulb type. It is an aluminium extrusion with a plastic diffuser. The light is whatever strip you put in it, bought separately.
• ⛔ “Indoor” as the application. That field holds “Indoor” on 340 of 342 Domus records and carries no information — though for this product indoor is in fact correct, since no IP rating is recorded.

• Wall-to-ceiling junctions, for a cove effect without building a cove.
• Inside cabinetry and wardrobes, along the top back corner.
• Under shelves and along the back edge of joinery, where the strip must not be seen.
• Stair strings and skirting returns with a true 45° angle.
• ⚠ Not on a coved or rounded plaster junction — it needs a real corner.
• ⚠ Not outdoors or in a wet area — no IP rating is recorded.
