Domus CHAM DR 5C/ Rgb+tw Data Repeater

The Domus CHAM-DR-5C is a 5-channel signal data repeater for 12–24 V DC constant-voltage LED. It duplicates the signal from a master controller without loss, so one controller can drive more strip than its own load limit allows.

⭐ The problem it solves, which almost nothing else does

• A master controller has a load limit, and a long strip run or a multi-zone installation exceeds it well before the design is finished.
• ⭐ The repeater takes the master’s signal and reproduces it at full strength, driving its own load. The master keeps control; the repeater supplies the current.
• ⭐ And it does so without drift. On RGB, RGBW, RGB+TW or single colour, the colour on the repeated section stays the same as on the master’s. That is the whole point — two sections of a colour-changing cove that are a shade apart is a defect you cannot fix afterwards.
• ✅ Particularly useful where one master controls large areas or several zones, which is the normal shape of a commercial strip installation.

⛔ Its datasheet gives one specification line

Its sibling the CHAM-DIM-DALI-5C records a housing size, an input voltage, a standby consumption, a display and an addressing method. This sheet gives the output capacity and the driver requirement, and stops.

• ⚠ The voltage one is worth pressing on. Our record narrows the sheet’s 12–24 V range down to 24 V alone. If you are running a 12 V system, ask us to confirm before ordering — the sheet says it should work and the record implies otherwise.
• ⭐ Tell us the zone layout and total load and we will work out how many repeaters the job needs. That is the number nobody has published, and it is the one that decides the parts list.

Specifying what is recorded

• 5 channels — single colour, tuneable white, RGB, RGBW or RGB+TW, matching the master.
• Output 5 × (60–180) W depending on supply voltage.
• ⛔ A constant-voltage 12–24 V DC LED driver is required and not included — the repeater supplies signal, not power.

• ⛔ “Built-in LED” as the bulb type, on a signal repeater with no LED in it — the eleventh product found carrying a lamp type on hardware with no lamp.
