The Domus BOLT-SLIM-60 is a 600 mm slim LED batten with four selectable wattages — 10 / 13 / 16 / 20 W — and tri-colour switching, in pressed sheet metal with a white powder coat and a high-transparency opal polycarbonate diffuser.
| Setting | 3000 K |
|---|---|
| 10 W | 1,450 lm |
| 13 W | 1,865 lm |
| 16 W | 2,265 lm |
| 20 W | 2,700 lm |
Our record lists a bulb type of T8. ⚠ It is an integrated LED batten with no replaceable lamp. ✅ What is true is that it replaces T8 and T5 fluorescent battens, with a quick-fix mounting designed for that retrofit — but nothing goes into it, and at end of life the fitting is replaced rather than re-lamped.
600 mm slim LED batten. Quad wattage 10 / 13 / 16 / 20 W and tri-colour 3000 / 4000 / 5700 K, both switched on the LED driver. Up to 2,700 lm at 20 W / 3000 K. CRI ≥80. 120° beam. ⭐ 50,000 hrs. 240 V AC. Pressed sheet metal with white powder coat and an opal polycarbonate diffuser. Suspended or surface mounted. ⛔ Not dimmable. ⛔ No emergency battery. ⛔ IP: the title and our record say IP20; the datasheet says IP44. We publish IP20 as the conservative reading — treat it as indoor dry area and ask us if you need it damp. ⛔ Our record lists a T8 bulb type; the fitting is integrated LED with no replaceable lamp. ⛔ Warranty not recorded.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
We have published IP20. The title says IP20 and our record says IP20; the datasheet says IP44 — two sources against one, and IP20 is also the safe direction, because a fitting sold as IP20 that turns out to be IP44 disappoints nobody while the reverse puts a batten somewhere it is not rated for. Across the catalogue 18 products have a record IP that disagrees with their sheet, and in all nine cases where the title carries an IP it backs the record. Treat this as indoor dry area, and ask us if you need it damp.
Four — 10, 13, 16 and 20W, giving 1,450, 1,865, 2,265 and 2,700 lumens at 3000K. One thing to watch: our record lists "20W", which here is the top of the range, whereas on the 1,200mm BOLT-SLIM the recorded 20W is the bottom of its range. The same recorded figure means opposite things on the two listings, so compare them on length and on the output tables rather than on that number.
Yes, and probably more than you expect. A 2ft fluorescent tube gave roughly 1,200–1,800 lumens when new and considerably less by the time anyone replaced it. Every setting here from 13W up exceeds that. Which is exactly why the four steps matter: putting the 20W setting into a small room that previously had one tired fluorescent will feel bright. Start at 13 or 16W and go up if you want more.
No. Our record lists a T8 bulb type and that is wrong — it is an integrated LED batten with no replaceable lamp. What is true is that it replaces T8 and T5 fluorescent battens with a quick-fix mounting designed for that retrofit, which is presumably where the entry came from. Nothing goes into it, and at end of life the fitting is replaced rather than re-lamped.
At installation, with the fitting open — both switches are on the LED driver inside. Decide before the electrician closes it up. You can go back and change it after seeing the room lit, but that means a ladder and a screwdriver, so it is worth thinking about beforehand.
No. This is the plain batten. If you need emergency backup, the BOLT-60-EM is the equivalent fitting with a LiFePO4 battery, a 90-minute duration and full AS/NZS 2293 compliance — though note it is a different size, 640 × 130mm, and considerably wider than this one.
50,000 hours, which is 10,000 more than the BOLT-EM emergency battens in this catalogue — a quarter as long again. At 10 hours a day that is roughly thirteen years. On a fit-out with many fittings that difference is a real change to the replacement cycle, and it is worth weighing against the emergency versions if you do not actually need the battery.
