A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus BLAZE-PRO 24 V is a low-voltage LED box floodlight — 20 W, 30 W or 50 W selectable, tri-colour, IP66, supplied with a 26 cm spike. A 24 V DC driver is required and not included.
⚠ Read this before you order: this is the 24 VOLT version, and much of the data attached to it belongs to a different fitting.
We have published only what the product's own name and its supplied accessories confirm, and we are not going to quote a lumen figure we cannot stand behind. Ask us for the output before you specify it.
Most floodlights are mains. A low-voltage one is a deliberate choice for a garden:
⚠ What we will not tell you. The lumen output, the beam angle, the colour rendering and the warranty for this fitting are not reliably recorded anywhere — the figures on the attached datasheet belong to the 100 W mains model.
Ask us and we will get the correct figures from Domus before you specify it. On a floodlight, the output is the specification.
Low-voltage LED box floodlight, selectable 20 / 30 / 50 W, tri-colour switchable, aluminium. ⚠ 24 V DC constant voltage — a driver is REQUIRED, wired in parallel, and NOT supplied. IP66 — dust tight, powerful water jets. Anti-condensation breathing valve, 4.5 kV surge protection, DOB driver on board, frosted glass lens, not dimmable. 26 cm spike included; a 50 cm spike is available separately. ⚠ Lumen output, beam angle, colour rendering and warranty are NOT reliably recorded for this version — the attached datasheet is the 100 W mains model's. Ask us.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
We will not quote a figure we cannot stand behind. The datasheet attached to this product is for the 100 W mains BLAZE-PRO — a different, much larger floodlight — so its 11,490 to 12,194 lumen figures are not this product’s. Ask us and we will get the correct output from Domus before you specify it. On a floodlight, the output is the specification.
No. It runs on 24 V DC and needs a constant-voltage driver wired in parallel, which is not included. Add up the load of everything on the run, add 20% headroom, and ask us to size it.
Safety and simplicity in a garden. 24 V runs can be laid with far less protection than mains, and a spade through a low-voltage cable is an inconvenience rather than an emergency. One driver feeds a whole scheme wired in parallel — and it can be shared with spike lights, strip and inground fittings on the same 24 V supply.
They let you decide after installation rather than before. The wattage switches between 20, 30 and 50 W, so one product covers a shrub, a wall and a whole tree; the colour switch runs warm through to cool. On garden lighting, where the result depends entirely on what you are lighting, that is genuinely valuable — but set both deliberately. A fitting left on whatever it arrived on is the commonest reason a garden scheme underwhelms.
Yes — a 26 cm spike, so it goes straight into a garden bed without a bracket or base. A 50 cm spike is available separately and is worth considering in deep mulch, loose soil or a bed that gets dug, because a longer spike is what keeps the fitting aimed where you left it. Aim it at night and re-check after the first heavy rain; spiked fittings move.
IP66 is dust tight and protected against powerful water jets — a step above IP65, and the right rating for a garden bed under sprinklers. The anti-condensation breathing valve matters too: the commonest way a floodlight dies is condensation forming behind the lens as it heats and cools each day.
Outdoor. Our record lists it as indoor, which is simply wrong for an IP66 floodlight supplied with a garden spike.
