Domus BLAZE-PRO 24V DC 20/30/50W LED Box Flood TRIO

The Domus BLAZE-PRO 24 V is a low-voltage LED box floodlight — 20 W, 30 W or 50 W selectable, tri-colour, IP66, supplied with a 26 cm spike. A 24 V DC driver is required and not included.

✅ Why a 24 V floodlight exists at all

Most floodlights are mains. A low-voltage one is a deliberate choice for a garden:

• Safer cabling. 24 V runs can be laid with far less protection than mains, and a spade through a low-voltage cable is an inconvenience rather than an emergency.
• One driver, many fittings. Wired in parallel, a single driver feeds a whole scheme from one point — which is how garden lighting is usually built.
• ✅ It shares a driver with the rest of a 24 V scheme — spike lights, strip and inground fittings can all run from the same supply.
• ⚠ The driver is not included. Add up the load of everything on the run, add 20%, and ask us to size it.

✅ Selectable wattage and colour — two switches on the fitting

• 20 W / 30 W / 50 W by switch. One product covers a shrub, a wall and a whole tree; put it up, look at it at night, and change it.
• Tri-colour by switch — warm through to cool.
• ✅ Together these mean you do not have to get the specification right before you buy, which on garden lighting — where the result depends entirely on what you are lighting — is genuinely valuable.
• ⚠ Set both deliberately. A fitting left on whatever it arrived on is the commonest reason a garden scheme underwhelms.

✅ A spike is included — and a longer one is available

• A 26 cm spike comes with the fitting, so it can go straight into a garden bed without a bracket or a base.
• ✅ A 50 cm spike is available separately, and it is worth considering: in deep mulch, loose soil or a bed that gets dug, a longer spike is what keeps the fitting aimed where you left it.
• ⚠ Aim it at night, and re-check it after the first heavy rain — spiked fittings move.

IP66, and the features that come with the range

• IP66 — dust tight and protected against powerful water jets. A step above IP65, and the right rating for something sitting in a garden bed under sprinklers.
• Anti-condensation breathing valve — the commonest way a floodlight dies is condensation behind the lens as it heats and cools daily; the valve lets the housing breathe without letting water in.
• 4.5 kV surge protection and DOB (driver on board).
• Frosted glass lens, which softens glare.
• ⚠ It does not dim.

• Garden beds, tree uplighting and wall washing — on the included spike.
• As part of a 24 V scheme sharing one driver with spikes and strip.
• Wet and exposed positions — IP66.
• ⛔ A 24 V DC driver is required and not supplied.
