A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Divad 650mm is the mid-height bollard in Havit Lighting's Divad range — aluminium with a poly powder coated black finish, Ø120mm across and 650mm tall. At that height it lights the edge of a path or driveway without putting a bright source in the sightline of anyone walking past it, which is the usual reason a taller bollard gets moved after it is installed. The body is rated IP65 for dust and driving rain, and IK08 for impact.
Light exits through a 120° beam. Spacing bollards so those beams just overlap gives a continuous lit edge instead of a row of pools with dark ground between them.
A 12W built-in LED module does the work. It is a tri-colour module, so the colour temperature is chosen on the fitting at installation rather than fixed at the factory: 3000K, 4000K or 5500K. Output tracks the setting at 960lm, 1020lm and 1080lm respectively. Colour rendering is above 80 CRI, which is enough to keep planting and brickwork looking their real colour at night. The Divad is not a dimmable fitting.
Lamp expectancy is rated at >30,000 hrs. There is no globe in this fitting and no lamp base — the LED module is integral, so nothing needs to be bought for it now or replaced later.
Two electrically different versions are sold on this page. HV1632T-BLK-240V-RND runs on 240V AC mains with no driver, and it is Class 1 — it requires an earth. HV1632T-BLK-24v-RND runs on 24V DC, needs a separate 24V DC driver that is not supplied with the fitting, and is Class 3, so no earth is required at the fitting. Choosing between them is usually decided by what is already in the ground: a new mains-fed path run suits the 240V version, while an existing low-voltage garden circuit suits the 24V.
If you are adding heads to a low-voltage run that already exists, check the remaining capacity of the installed driver before ordering. Either version is work for a licensed electrician.
The Divad is built to be fixed to a firm base — a concrete footing or a paver — rather than pressed into garden soil, which is what keeps a bollard vertical after a wet season. Havit applies a siting condition to this fitting: aluminium and 304 stainless fittings must not be installed within 5km of any salt water environment. That condition is part of the warranty, and a coastal installation is the most common reason an outdoor fitting is later refused under it. Near the coast, specify a fitting rated for a marine location instead.
Havit covers the Divad with a 3 year replacement warranty. Lights For You keeps the Divad range on the shelf in Ashfield because it is the bollard our customers most often come back for when they extend a garden run a season later.
No. The 240V AC version does not need one. The 24V DC version requires a 24V DC driver and it is not supplied with the fitting.
No. The 24V version is Class 3 and does not require an earth at the fitting. The 240V version is Class 1 and does require one.
650mm, on a Ø120mm body. The Divad range also runs to a 1050mm version if you want the light to reach further across a bed.
The 3000K, 4000K or 5500K selection is made on the fitting at installation, so it is best settled before the bollard is fixed down.
Not within 5km of a salt water environment. Havit states aluminium and 304 stainless fittings must not be installed there, and doing so puts the warranty at risk.
