The Diaz is a ceramic table lamp with a white fabric shade — 540 mm tall on a ø260 mm base, in black, blue, green or red.

Four colours, and red is the rare one

Black is the neutral. Blue and green are the usual decorative choices. Red is genuinely uncommon in a lighting catalogue — it is a strong, warm accent that will be the focal point of most rooms rather than blending into one.

Ceramic means weight, and care

A glazed ceramic body is heavy and stable, so it stands solidly on a console in a passing space. It is also breakable in a way metal is not — handle it by the body, not the shade, and keep it back from the edge of a surface.

The shade is wider than the base

A ø330 mm shade over a ø260 mm base gives the lamp a top-heavy silhouette and throws a wider pool than the footprint suggests. Check the surface depth — the shade, not the base, is what overhangs.

Specifying it

Height 540 mm, base ø260 mm, shade ø330 mm, in ceramic and fabric. One E27 globe up to 25 W, not supplied. It is Class II — double insulated, no earth required, and IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years.

Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Glazed ceramic colours vary slightly between firings — order a pair together if they are flanking a bed.

Four: black, blue, green and red, all with a white shade. Red is genuinely uncommon in a lighting catalogue.

How big is it?

Is a globe included?

No. One E27 globe of up to 25 W, supplied separately.

Is ceramic fragile?

More than metal. Handle it by the body rather than the shade and keep it back from the edge of a surface.

Does it need an electrician?

No. It is double insulated and plugs into a normal socket.

Can I buy a matching pair?

Yes — order them together, as glazed ceramic varies slightly between firings.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

Your Options

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
  • Credit: will be issued in the form of store credit and will be equal to the price paid.
