A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Dek's brightest setting is the middle one, and that is worth knowing before an electrician joins the cables, because the choice is made once and then buried. Havit publishes 180 lm at 3000K, 190 lm at 4000K and 185 lm at 5500K — output peaks at 4000K and falls back at 5500K. Do not assume the coolest setting is the brightest; on this fitting it is not.
This page sells three: HV2893T-SS316-12V with a bare 316 stainless steel cover, HV2893T-BLK-12V with that same 316 stainless cover poly powder coated black, and HV2893T-WHT-12V coated white. In every case the cover is 316 stainless steel and the body behind it is aluminium, so the coated versions are not painted aluminium — they are painted stainless. The lens is described by Havit as traffic resistant and the impact rating is IK08. On the bare stainless finish Havit recommends maintenance every six months to preserve appearance and warranty, and lists its HV9971 maintenance kit for it; the coated finishes carry no such requirement.
The Dek is IP67, which covers temporary immersion, and that is the reason to choose this one where a hole may briefly hold water rather than a fitting rated only against water jets. It is still not permission to leave it submerged. Havit's drainage detail is a warranty condition: a 100 mm space beneath the canister, 100 mm to 150 mm of crushed rock under that, and a slight fall on the finished ground so water runs away. The installation type is Ground or Wall – Recessed, the cutout is 36 mm without a canister and 38 mm with one, and the canister finishes flush with the ground.
It runs on 12 V DC from a suitable 12 V DC LED driver. Do not connect the fitting directly to 240 V. Voltage at the fitting must be within ±5% of the rated figure and the fitting must sit no more than 25 m from its driver, or the warranty is void — with a 500 mm tail on each fitting and parallel wiring, that is a constraint on where the driver goes rather than on the fitting. It is dimmable, and Havit is specific about how: a 12 V DC dimmable LED driver, with its HV9625 Triac dimmer if you want a wall control. Joints are soldered and sealed with adhesive lined heat shrink or a gel cap.
The source is a built-in LED — no globe, no socket. Tri-colour is selected in the wiring: the neutral cables are marked 3000k and 5500k, and joining both to the driver's neutral gives 4000K, the brightest of the three. The unused cable must be terminated and sealed. Beam is 36°. Lights For You publishes these figures from the HV2893T data sheet of October 2023 and the HV2893T/HV2894T installation instructions, with Havit's 3 Years Replacement warranty on items ordered after 01/01/2022.
4000K, at 190 lm. Havit publishes 180 lm at 3000K and 185 lm at 5500K, so output peaks in the middle and drops slightly at the cool end. That is the opposite of the Elite fittings in the same range, where output climbs all the way to 5500K, so do not carry an assumption across between them.
The cutout is 36 mm without a canister and 38 mm with one. The visible face is Ø45 mm and the body is 63 mm deep behind it.
Only the visible cover. All three have a 316 stainless steel cover over an aluminium body; the black and white versions have that stainless cover poly powder coated. Output, beam, IP rating and dimensions are identical. The bare stainless finish is the one Havit asks you to maintain every six months.
IP67 covers temporary immersion, which is what makes it the right rating for a fitting recessed into ground that may briefly flood. It is not a rating for permanent submersion, and Havit still makes drainage a warranty condition — 100 mm of space beneath the canister and 100 mm to 150 mm of crushed rock under that.
With a dimmable 12 V DC LED driver. The dimming happens at the driver rather than in the fitting. If you want a wall control, Havit lists its HV9625 Triac dimmer, which is wired ahead of a Triac-dimmable driver.
No more than 25 m, and the voltage arriving at the fitting must be within ±5% of 12 V. Both are Havit warranty conditions. The fitting has a 500 mm tail and is wired in parallel with any others on the same driver.
No — it is a built-in LED with no globe and no socket. Havit rates the lamp expectancy at >30,000hrs, after which the fitting is replaced rather than relamped.
