⛔ This listing advertises the tri-colour version's performance

• ⛔ The recorded figures are exactly the TRIO DECO-8's — its three colour temperatures and its three outputs, on a fitting whose own sheet gives two of each and lower numbers.
• ⛔ The gap is not small. 450 lm against 700 lm is a third less light. Someone comparing on the listing figures would expect noticeably more than they get.
• ⚠ We have published the datasheet's figures, because they are this product's own. ⚠ Both attached sheets are marked unverifiable, so ask us to confirm the output with Domus before it goes on a drawing.
• ⭐ The reading that makes sense of it: the DALI version is an older, lower-output generation — its sheet cites Epistar 5630MD and a 4-star rating from 2014, and describes the product as a CFL replacement. The TRIO is the newer fitting.

⛔ And its datasheet contradicts itself on lifespan

• The specification field says 50,000 hrs. The prose on the same sheet says 40,000.
• ⚠ We have not picked one. ⭐ At either figure it is a very long time in a domestic ceiling — 40,000 hours is roughly 27 years at four hours a day — so the difference is unlikely to affect a decision. On a commercial maintenance schedule, ask us to confirm.

• ✅ Each fitting has an address, so a building system can set levels per fitting or per group without rewiring circuits.
• ⚠ It needs the bus. On a site with no DALI system this is a downlight you cannot dim. Confirm the control system exists first.
• ⭐ At 8 W and 450–500 lm this is a small, controllable point — which suits close-spaced commercial runs where the levels are set by zone rather than by switch.
• ⚠ If you want more output at this aperture, the TRIO DECO-8 gives 700–800 lm — but with mains dimming rather than DALI. That is the real trade-off between the two.
