The Domus DECO-13 is a 13 W deep-set recessed downlight with an anti-glare frame and opal diffuser, DALI dimmable, in round or square and white, black or chrome. Cutout Ø90 mm; fascia Ø110 mm; 38 mm deep.
⚠ Two figures on this listing disagree with the datasheet, and both change what you would specify.
| Our record | The datasheet | |
|---|---|---|
| Coolest setting | 5700 K | 5000 K |
| Output | 800 / 850 / 900 lm | 850 / 880 / 889 lm |
700 K is a visible difference at the cool end, and the two lumen sets do not overlap at any setting. We have published the datasheet figures, which are the manufacturer's own.
✅ Either way it is a bright fitting — around 880 lm from 13 W with a 90° spread. If the colour temperature is load-bearing on your specification, ask us and we will get it confirmed in writing.
The datasheet's wording is precise: "IP44 rating is from the underside of the downlight once installed into the ceiling."
The datasheet says "tested on the Domus dimmer series. May work on others but not tested."
13 W deep-set recessed LED downlight, anti-glare frame with opal diffuser, DALI. Cutout Ø90 mm. Fascia Ø110 mm, 38 mm deep. Round or square; white, black or chrome. Output 850 / 880 / 889 lm at 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K per the datasheet — ⚠ our record gives 800 / 850 / 900 lm and a coolest setting of 5700 K. 90° beam, CRI ≥83, Epistar SMD, 50,000 hrs, aluminium. 240 V AC.
⚠ IP44 from the underside once installed — not a sealed rating for the void. ⚠ Dimming tested on the Domus dimmer series only; this is the DALI variant, which dims over the bus. ⚠ Its datasheet's "4.5 Star Rating 11/2013" is over a decade old — do not use it in a current energy calculation. Warranty 3 years.

The datasheet says 5000 K and our record says 5700 K, and we have published the datasheet figure because it is the manufacturer's own. 700 K is a visible difference at the cool end — enough to matter if you are matching other fittings in the same space. If the colour temperature is load-bearing on your specification, ask us and we will get it confirmed in writing.
Around 850 to 889 lumens depending on the setting, from the datasheet. Our record gives 800, 850 and 900, and the two sets do not overlap at any setting — we have published the datasheet's. What is useful either way is that the spread across the three colours is under 5%, so you can pick the colour for the room without recounting fittings.
Ø90 mm — the standard Australian downlight aperture — and both the round and square versions take it, since the square fascia sits over a round hole. That means you can mix the two shapes, or change your mind after the ceiling is cut. The fascia is Ø110 mm and it is only 38 mm deep, which suits a tight void or a bulkhead.
For this listing, yes — it is the DALI variant, which dims over the DALI bus rather than from a wall dimmer. Without a controller or gateway there is nothing to send it a level. If you are working with ordinary wall dimmers, ask us about the non-DALI variants of the DECO-13; note that the datasheet's dimming caveat — "tested on the Domus dimmer series, may work on others but not tested" — applies to those rather than to this one.
Outside the shower zone. The datasheet's wording is worth quoting exactly: IP44 "from the underside of the downlight once installed into the ceiling". That means protection from the room side rather than a sealed fitting in the void, and it does not apply before installation. Subject to your electrician and the zones in AS/NZS 3000.
Both take the same Ø90 mm hole, so it is purely visual. A square trim reads as deliberate in a modern ceiling; a round one is the safer default and forgives rotation. If you go square, set the run out to the walls rather than by eye — square trims show rotation in a way round ones hide, and an out-of-square run is visible from across the room.
An energy rating from November 2013, and we are flagging it because it is over a decade old. Rating schemes and their baselines have moved since, so it should not be used in a current energy calculation. If you need a current efficiency figure, ask us and we will get one from Domus rather than have you cite a 2013 star rating.
