The Darien PE6 is a 660 mm six-light pendant with a Canadian ash outer ring and square-tube iron arms — six E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
The smallest of three, and the one for an ordinary room. At 660 mm across and 560 mm deep it suits a smaller dining table, a breakfast area, an entry or a hallway end — places the 860 mm eight-light and the 1.21-metre twelve would overwhelm.
And a correction: our page listed the suspension as 20,000 mm — twenty metres. It is 2,000 mm.
⚠ 6.27 kilograms, and no page or record carried the figure. Even the smallest Darien is past a ceiling rose or a plasterboard anchor, and on a two-metre suspension the mount takes movement as well as dead weight. Tell your electrician the figure before the ceiling is opened.
It ended at “casting a warm, inviting—”. In full:
Use candle-shaped E14 globes, not round ones.
Ask us for a matched set of six.
Real timber, and specifically Canadian ash: pale, straight-grained and open-pored, so it reads clean and contemporary where a darker or figured wood would read rustic. Against black square-tube iron arms, that pale ring is what makes the Darien farmhouse without being country.
On the 660 mm version the ring is a larger proportion of the fitting than on the bigger sizes — so the timber is more of what you see, and its grain matters more. Every ring is different; yours will not match the photograph exactly. Our record carried no material at all; the page had it.
Six E14 to 25 W each — 150 W total, not supplied. With LED candles at 4 to 6 W the real draw is about 30 W — a fifth of the rating.
It dims, with the right globes — neither our record nor the specification table mentioned dimming at all, though the datasheet says globe dependent.
On six exposed globes over a smaller table, dimming is most of what makes the fitting comfortable to sit under. And with only six, a matched set is easy and cheap — ask us.
Class I — earth required, canopy 140 × 23 mm, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only, in Canadian ash and iron.

2,000 mm. Our page published 20,000 mm — twenty metres — which is wrong by a factor of ten. The eight-light page has the same figure correctly.
Candle-shaped E14, not round — our page was cut off mid-sentence making that recommendation. On a six-light each globe is a larger share of what you see, so the upright candle line matters even more than on the twelve. Warm 2700 K, clear or lightly frosted, all six together.
