The Cosca EX180 is a 320 mm exterior wall light with smoke glass in black — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied — IP43.
IP43, not IP44 — and the difference is real. IP44 is rated against splashing water from any direction. IP43 is rated only against spraying water up to 60° from vertical — water coming downward, not sideways.
In practice: under a porch roof, a verandah or a deep eave — yes; an exposed wall taking wind-driven rain from the side — no. It is one digit, and on a fitting people naturally hang beside a front door, often unsheltered, it is worth reading twice. The Cosca's downward-facing body helps — it sheds water rather than collecting it — but the rating is the rating.
Unusual, and worth understanding before you buy. Smoke glass is tinted, so it absorbs a substantial share of the light on the way out. On an interior pendant that is a deliberate mood choice; on an entry light it means less light than the same globe would give behind clear or frosted glass.
What you get in exchange is real: the fitting reads as dark and deliberate by day rather than as a lit box, and the light that does emerge is softened and slightly warmed by the tint. Choose it for the look and size the globe generously.
The Cosca's shape is doing something specific: a short arm holds a downward-facing body with a wider bottom, so the light is thrown down and outward onto the ground and the wall below rather than up into the sky. Beside a door that puts light on the step and the threshold, which is what you want, and it also means the fitting does not glare at anyone approaching.
180 mm wide, at 1.9 kg. The 170 mm projection is substantial — fine on an open facade or beside a wide entry, an obstruction on a narrow path people pass close to. The 145 mm Cosca projects 140 mm if the position is tight.
Choose the globe carefully — it is not supplied.
Ask us and we will match one.
Nearly every outdoor light in this range has a sealed integrated LED: when the diode fails, the fitting is finished. The Cosca takes a standard E27, so you choose the colour and output and you can replace it in ten years.
It is Class I — earth required and hard-wired, so a licensed electrician installs it — correctly, on this page. Dimming depends on the globe.
320 mm high by 180 mm wide, projection 170 mm, 1.9 kg, in aluminium and smoke glass, black. One E27 globe to 25 W, NOT supplied and replaceable; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP43 — rated against DOWNWARD spray only; covered positions. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.

Down and outward. A short arm holds a downward-facing body with a wider bottom, so light lands on the step and the threshold rather than going up into the sky — and it does not glare at anyone approaching.
An LED rated for enclosed fittings — the Cosca is a sealed lantern and heat with nowhere to go kills LED globes. Never an incandescent. And size it generously, because the smoke glass will take some of the output. Ask us and we will match one.
No — one E27 to 25 W, your choice, and replaceable. That is an advantage: nearly every other outdoor light in this range has a sealed integrated LED, and when it fails the fitting is finished.

It depends on the globe — fit a dimmable LED and use a wall dimmer.
