Occhio LED Eyelid Step Light 3w

Occhio is a small surface-mounted step light with an eyelid shroud over the aperture — 56 mm long, 28 mm wide and 47 mm high. The eyelid is the whole point of it: it hides the LED from anyone looking back along the path, so you see lit ground rather than a bright dot at ankle height. That makes it the right choice for a stair or path you walk towards, where an open-faced fitting would glare. Six finishes run from black and white through antique and solid brass to 316 stainless steel, polished or satin.

The decision that matters: this is a 12 V fitting

Every finish on this listing is 12 V DC. Occhio requires a 12 V DC LED driver and must never be connected directly to 240 V — that destroys the fitting and is outside the warranty. Havit also requires each fitting to sit within 25 m of its driver; past that the warranty does not apply. Size the driver for the combined load of the run, and a 500 mm tail is supplied at each fitting for the connection.

Specifying it

Tri-colour selectable at install — 3000K, 4000K or 5500K — and the product's own ordering table gives the same figures for every finish: 240 lm at 3000K, 250 lm at 4000K and 260 lm at 5500K. That is a genuinely useful output for a fitting this size, so space them further apart than you would a 30 lm marker. Triac dimmable on a dimmable low-voltage driver. IP65 covers direct rain on an exposed wall; IK10 means it survives being knocked at ankle height. The LED is built in — no globe is needed and none can be fitted. Licensed electrician only.
