Product Description
xThe Colair is a four-light pendant in solid brass with clear bevelled glass, in black or brass, measuring 350 mm square and 450 mm deep.
25 W per globe, not 100 W. Our record and an earlier version of this page said "up to 100W per lamp". 100 W is the total across all four — each holder takes an E27 globe of up to 25 W.
Solid brass sheet, silver-soldered
The frames are cut from solid brass sheet and silver-soldered by hand rather than cast or welded. Silver-soldering produces a finer, cleaner joint than ordinary brazing, which is why the frame lines stay thin. On a fitting where the structure is the design, that is the whole point — and it is why this reads as made rather than manufactured.
Bevelled glass, not plain
The clear glass panels carry bevelled edges, so each panel edge catches light and draws a bright line around the frame. That is what stops a clear-glass box from looking like a plain lantern.
Built for a filament globe
The glass is clear and the frame is open, so the globes are the fitting. Fit decorative filament E27s and it is complete; plain frosted globes leave it looking unfinished. Buy all four together.
Sized for a table
350 mm square, 450 mm deep. Suited to a four to six seat dining table or a kitchen island — substantial without being a statement.
It needs an earth
Class I — hard-wired, earth required. An electrician's install.

Questions
What wattage globes does it take?
25 W each, in E27 — 100 W total across four. Our record and earlier copy said "100W per lamp", which is the total, not the per-globe figure.
What does silver-soldered mean?
The brass frames are cut from sheet and joined by hand with silver solder, which gives a finer, cleaner joint than ordinary brazing — so the frame lines stay thin.
What globes should I fit?
Decorative filament E27s. The glass is clear and the frame open, so the globes are the fitting — plain frosted ones leave it unfinished.
Is the brass solid?
Yes — cut from solid brass sheet, not plated or cast.
What table size does it suit?
A four to six seat dining table, or a kitchen island. It is 350 mm square and 450 mm deep.
Can I install it myself?
No. It is Class I, hard-wired and requires an earth.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
