Product Description
xThe Clovis SP is a 150 mm garden spike light — 24 V, a replaceable 5 W MR16 LED included, 400 lm at 2700 K with CRI above 90, IP65 — in black, green or corten, with a glass lens.
This is the SPIKE, not the post. Clovis is made two ways: this 150 mm spike that sits in the planting, and a 600 mm post that stands above it. Same head, same globe, same output — entirely different jobs, and no page said so. Check which you are ordering.
Low, so it uplights from within the bed
At 150 mm the Clovis spike sits below the planting and throws light up through it — grazing a trunk, silhouetting foliage, washing a wall from its base. That is a different effect from the 600 mm post, which stands above groundcover and lights down onto it. Use the spike to uplight something and the post to light an area.
It needs a 24 V driver, and one is not included.

— several share one transformer on a single low-voltage circuit. The matched unit is the
C TR060.24V, and cable tail is 1,000 mm.
2700 K and CRI above 90 — specified for planting
The combination that matters in a garden and almost nothing else offers. 2700 K is genuinely warm — foliage looks alive rather than fluorescent. CRI >90 means greens read as greens and bark reads as bark. Most garden lights are 3000 K at CRI 80 and turn a planting scheme grey-blue after dark.
The globe is replaceable — and it is glass
MR16, not a sealed LED: when it fails you change the globe, not the fitting, and you can change the beam angle later — narrow to spot a trunk, wide to wash a bed. And the lens is glass rather than polycarbonate, so it will not yellow or haze under UV. Over ten years in full Australian sun that is a real distinction.
IP65 and low voltage
Dust tight and water-jet protected, and Class III — under 54 volts past the driver. In a bed that gets dug, edged and watered for years, low voltage is the right way to do it.

Questions
How is this different from the Clovis post light?

Do I need anything else to run it?
Yes — a 24 V driver, not included. The matched unit is the C TR060.24V, and several fittings share one. Ask us and we will supply it sized to your run.
Why 2700 K rather than 3000 K?
It is genuinely warm and makes foliage look alive rather than fluorescent. With CRI above 90, greens read as greens — most garden lights are 3000 K at CRI 80 and turn a planting scheme grey-blue.
Is the globe replaceable?
Yes — MR16, not a sealed LED. When it fails you change the globe, not the fitting, and you can change the beam angle later: narrow to spot a trunk, wide to wash a bed.
Why glass rather than polycarbonate?
Glass does not yellow or haze under UV. Over ten years in full Australian sun that is a real distinction — a clouded plastic lens loses output and looks tired.
Does it need cover?
No. IP65 is dust tight and protected against water jets from any direction.
Is a globe included?
Yes — a 5 W MR16 LED giving 400 lm at 2700 K.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
