Domus builds this fitting to order and asks for up to 10 business days for production before it ships. It is not picked off a shelf.

• ⭐ That is the trade-off for the finish choice. The body is powder-coated in the colour you pick after you order, which is why the range offers five rather than one stocked colour.
• ⚠ Plan the lead time into the job. If it is needed for a handover, a settlement or a booked electrician, tell us the date when you order and we will confirm the production window with Domus.
• ⚠ Order the whole set together. On a property using several of these, a second order placed later starts its own ten days — and a later powder-coat batch is not guaranteed to match the first.

⛔ The projection is not recorded, and on a wall bracket that is the clearance figure

• ⛔ Our record holds a 305 mm width and a 422 mm height and no projection.
• ⚠ Its down-facing curved twin records 370 mm at the same width and height — the same arm inverted — so 370 mm is a reasonable estimate.
• ⛔ We have not put it in the dimensions. The two are different products, and inverting a curved arm does not necessarily give the same reach.
• ⭐ Ask us and we will measure one before you fit it beside a doorway or in a passage.
• ⚠ The curved arms project further than the straight ones (305 mm), so if clearance is the constraint, a straight-arm bracket is the safer specification.

⭐ Up-facing: what it does differently

• ✅ The lantern sits above the arm, so light goes up the wall as well as down — which makes the wall itself part of the lit surface rather than a dark backdrop.
• ✅ It reads more formal than a down-facing bracket. Either side of a front door, an up-facing pair looks composed; a down-facing pair looks practical.
• ⚠ You will see the lit lens more, because the lantern is higher and angled towards the eye. ⭐ That is an argument for a warm, modest lamp — a bright cool globe in an up-facing bracket at head height is glary.
• ⚠ It puts less light on the ground directly below than a down-facing bracket. For lighting a step or a threshold, the down-facing version is the better tool.

⭐ Its title says which way it faces — and its sibling’s does not

This listing is titled “CHESTER WALL BRACKET UP C-ARM”. ⛔ The down-facing curved-arm bracket is titled simply “CHESTER WALL BRACKET C-ARM”, with no direction at all — only its web address reveals it.

⚠ So of the two curved-arm brackets, one is labelled and one is not, which is the sort of thing that produces the wrong delivery. This one is the up-facing version.

⛔ A B22 holder with no maximum wattage

• One B22 lamp, not included, no maximum recorded anywhere in the family.
• ✅ B22 LED at 9–11 W, warm, enclosed and damp rated — and on an up-facing bracket the warm part matters.

⭐ There is a replacement lens for it

The “Requires: Lamp GT-131…” line is the CHESTER series code and the series has a GTA-131 replacement acrylic panel set. ⭐ On an up-facing bracket the lens is angled towards the eye, so yellowed acrylic shows sooner here than on almost any other CHESTER configuration. ✅ Nothing extra is needed to install it.

• Matched with CHESTER pillar mounts on the gate piers.
