The Domus CHESTER 3LT 2.4 m curved arm is a triple-head post light with curved arms — 590 mm deep at 2,350 mm high, die-cast aluminium with moulded acrylic lenses, IP43, taking three B22 lamps.

Domus builds this fitting to order and asks for up to 10 business days for production before it ships. It is not picked off a shelf.

  • ⭐ That is the trade-off for the finish choice. The body is powder-coated in the colour you pick after you order, which is why the range offers five rather than one stocked colour.
  • ⚠ Plan the lead time into the job. If it is needed for a handover, a settlement or a booked electrician, tell us the date when you order and we will confirm the production window with Domus.
  • ⚠ Order the whole set together. On a property using several of these, a second order placed later starts its own ten days — and a later powder-coat batch is not guaranteed to match the first.

Why choose curved arms on a triple?

Because three straight-armed lanterns at 2.4m reads as street furniture, and the curve is what keeps it looking like a garden fitting. It matters more on a triple than anywhere else in the range — the more heads you add, the more the silhouette decides whether the post reads as residential or institutional. On a period or traditional frontage the curved arm is almost always the right call.

What footing does it need?

Not recorded on any CHESTER post. And three lanterns on curved arms put mass off the post axis in every direction, not just one, so this is among the more demanding configurations in the family. Tell us the site and the soil and we will get the footing detail from Domus before your concreter is there — it is set in concrete long before anyone tests the light.

Can I replace the lenses if they go cloudy?

Yes, and on a triple it saves real money. A GTA-131 panel set — the CHESTER series replacement acrylic diffuser — is sold separately, and three lenses cost a fraction of a post. The acrylic is what fails on these lanterns, since UV yellows and embrittles it over years while the cast body lasts decades. Replace all three at once: one clear lens among two yellowed ones is more obvious than the yellowing was.

Do all three lamps have to match?

Yes. On a triple a mismatch is visible from any approach angle, and there is no arrangement of three lanterns where an odd one out looks intentional. Buy all three together, same brand and same colour temperature, and keep a spare from the same batch — a replacement bought later will not match even from the same manufacturer.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
