The Domus CHESTER 2LT 2.4 m curved arm is a twin-head post light with curved arms — 630 mm wide, 650 mm deep, 2,350 mm high, in die-cast aluminium with moulded acrylic lenses, IP43, taking two B22 lamps.

Domus builds this fitting to order and asks for up to 10 business days for production before it ships. It is not picked off a shelf.

• ⭐ That is the trade-off for the finish choice. The body is powder-coated in the colour you pick after you order, which is why the range offers five rather than one stocked colour.
• ⚠ Plan the lead time into the job. If it is needed for a handover, a settlement or a booked electrician, tell us the date when you order and we will confirm the production window with Domus.
• ⚠ Order the whole set together. On a property using several of these, a second order placed later starts its own ten days — and a later powder-coat batch is not guaranteed to match the first.

⭐ What the curved arm actually changes

• ⭐ The curve pulls the lanterns in, not out — 630 mm against 660 mm. That is the opposite of what most people expect from a curved arm.
• ⭐ But it pushes them forward. This is the only CHESTER post that records a depth, and at 650 mm it is nearly as deep as it is wide. ⚠ Check that against a boundary, a fence line or a footpath — a post that fits the width may still overhang.
• ✅ The visual result is a softer, more traditional silhouette, which is why you would choose it. A straight-armed twin at 2.4 m reads as municipal; a curved one reads as a garden fitting.
• ⚠ 70 mm lower than the straight-arm twin, which is not enough to change what it lights.

⭐ There is a replacement lens for this lantern

Its datasheet's “Requires: Lamp GT-131…” line is the CHESTER series code, not a part number. ⭐ Every traditional-lantern family here has one, and each has a matching GTA replacement diffuser — for CHESTER, the GTA-131 panel set.

⭐ On a die-cast aluminium lantern the acrylic is what fails. UV yellows and embrittles it over years while the body lasts decades. Ask us for the panel set rather than replacing a post. ✅ Nothing extra is required to install this one.

⛔ No wattage figure, and no footing data

• ⛔ No per-lamp maximum and no total for the two B22 holders in any source. ✅ Two B22 LEDs at 9–11 W each is what we would fit.
• ⛔ No footing depth, base plate size, fixing pattern or wind rating. ⚠ The 650 mm depth makes this worse than the width suggests — curved arms put mass further from the post axis in two directions, not one.
• ⭐ Settle the footing with us before the concreter is on site.

Wall bracket in four arm types, pillar mount, post top and pendant, plus singles at 1.32 / 1.96 / 2.37 m, twins at 1.49 / 2.11 / 2.47 m and this 2.4 m curved, and triples at 2.47 m and 2.4 m curved. ⚠ No listing mentions the others.
