This is a sloped-ceiling mounting kit for Domus ceiling fans, rated to 38°, 190 × 190 × 90 mm, in white or black.

⛔ Confirm the fan and the ceiling angle with us before ordering. A fan mount is a structural component — it holds a spinning object above people's heads — and we hold no datasheet for this part.

What we can tell you: it takes a Domus ceiling fan on a slope of up to 38°, and the canopy is 190 × 190 × 90 mm.

What no source records: the maximum fan weight it is rated for, which Domus fans it fits, the material, the fixing method, whether a downrod is included, and what hardware comes with it. ⚠ The 38° figure itself appears only in the product title, not in any specification field.

Send us the model number from your fan and the ceiling pitch, and we will confirm the correct kit with Domus before anything ships. On a fan mount that is not a detail to work out on the day.

Why a sloped ceiling needs a kit at all
  • A standard fan canopy is designed for a flat ceiling and will only take a few degrees of pitch before the downrod binds against the canopy edge.
  • ⛔ Forcing it is not a cosmetic problem. A downrod that cannot hang vertically puts a side load on the ball joint and the fan will wobble, get noisy, and wear.
  • ✅ A sloped-ceiling kit gives the ball joint the clearance to hang the rod plumb whatever the ceiling is doing, which is what keeps the fan quiet.
  • ⚠ 38° is the limit. Cathedral and raked ceilings frequently exceed it — measure yours before ordering rather than estimating from the floor.
How to measure the pitch
  • A spirit level and a tape, or a phone level app held flat against the ceiling.
  • ✅ Measure at the exact position the fan will hang, not at the wall. Raked ceilings often change angle near a ridge or a bulkhead.
  • ⚠ If it is close to 38°, tell us the number. There is no margin to guess at, and a kit that will not sit flat is a return.
What else the installation needs
  • A downrod of the right length. On a sloped ceiling the fan hangs lower on one side, so blade clearance to the ceiling and to the floor both need checking.
  • ⚠ Blade tip clearance is the constraint people miss — the high side of the ceiling can be closer to a blade tip than it looks. Tell us the pitch and the blade span and we will work it through.
  • A licensed electrician. A ceiling fan is a fixed appliance on a 240 V circuit and a structural fixing at the same time.
What we are deliberately not publishing

⛔ Maximum fan weight. Compatible fan models. Material. Fixing method. Included hardware. Whether a downrod is supplied.

None of these appears in the manufacturer's data or our own record. On a component that holds a fan above a room, inventing any of them would be worse than leaving them out.

Where it works
  • ✅ Raked and sloped ceilings up to 38°, with a Domus fan — once we have confirmed both.
  • ✅ Where a standard canopy will not let the downrod hang plumb.
  • ⛔ Not above 38° — measure at the fan position.
  • ⛔ Not confirmed for another brand's fan.
  • ⛔ Not a DIY job — licensed electrician.
Specifying it

Sloped-ceiling mounting kit for Domus ceiling fans, rated to 38°. Canopy 190 × 190 × 90 mm. White or black.

⛔ No datasheet exists for this part. The maximum fan weight, the list of compatible fans, the material, the fixing method and the included hardware are all unrecorded, and the 38° rating itself appears only in the product title. Send us your fan's model number and the measured ceiling pitch and we will confirm the correct kit with Domus before you order. Installation by a licensed electrician. ⚠ Warranty 1 year.

Supplied and supported by Lights For You.

Questions
Will it fit my fan?

Send us the model number and we will confirm it with Domus. It is described as universal for Domus ceiling fans, but no source we hold lists the compatible models and there is no datasheet for this part. On a component that holds a fan above a room, that is not something to work out on the day.

What is the steepest ceiling it will take?

38°, and that figure appears only in the product title rather than in any specification field. Measure the pitch at the exact position the fan will hang, not at the wall — raked ceilings often change angle near a ridge or a bulkhead. If yours is close to 38°, tell us the number, because there is no margin to guess at.

How do I measure my ceiling pitch?

A spirit level and a tape, or a phone level app held flat against the ceiling. Do it at the fan position rather than anywhere convenient. Cathedral and raked ceilings frequently exceed 38°, so it is worth checking before you commit to a fan position at all.

Why can I not just use the standard canopy?

Because a standard canopy is designed for a flat ceiling and will only take a few degrees of pitch before the downrod binds against the canopy edge. That is not a cosmetic problem: a downrod that cannot hang plumb puts a side load on the ball joint, and the fan will wobble, get noisy and wear. The kit gives the ball joint the clearance to hang the rod vertically whatever the ceiling is doing.

What weight of fan is it rated for?

Not recorded in any source we hold, and we are not going to estimate it on a structural fixing. Ask us and we will get the figure from Domus. Your electrician will want it too, so it is worth having before the visit rather than during it.

Does it come with a downrod?

Not recorded. Nothing states whether a rod or which fixing hardware is included. On a sloped ceiling the rod length matters more than usual, because the fan hangs lower on one side and both blade-to-ceiling and blade-to-floor clearance need checking. Tell us the pitch and the blade span and we will work it through with you.

Can I fit it myself?

No. A ceiling fan is a fixed appliance on a 240 V circuit and a structural fixing at the same time, so it is licensed electrical work — and on a sloped ceiling the fixing into the framing needs more care than on a flat one.
