The Domus CELL-K75 is a keyhole frame for the CELL downlight module series, 95 × 95 × 50 mm, in black or white.

The CELL-P75 pinhole frame records identical figures — Ø70 mm cutout, 95 × 95 × 50 mm body, the same warranty, the same datasheet. The only difference in our catalogue is the word in the title.

In general use: a keyhole aperture is shaped or offset, throwing light in a direction rather than straight down; a pinhole is a small round aperture giving a concealed downward beam.

The datasheet names this frame specifically against Ø85 mm, and it is not clear whether that is a larger required aperture or the fascia. We have published Ø70 mm and will confirm with Domus in writing before you cut — cutting to 70 and needing 85 is an easy fix; the reverse is a patching job.

What a shaped aperture is for
  • ✅ Directional light from a fitting that stays concealed. A shaped aperture throws light to one side while keeping the lamp itself out of view — useful for grazing a wall from close to it, or lighting a stair from above without a visible source.
  • ✅ Glare control from the occupied side. The aperture shields the lamp from the direction people approach from, which a plain round hole cannot do.
  • ⛔ It costs output, as any restricted aperture does. ⚠ No source records how much. Ask us before counting fittings.
  • ⚠ Orientation matters on a shaped aperture in a way it does not on a round one. If the frame is directional, it has to be installed the right way round. We will confirm that with the order.
What a frame is and is not
  • ⛔ A frame is not a light. The CELL module and its driver are separate — CELL-9 (9 W) or CELL-13 (13 W), in Trio or DALI.
  • ✅ The module carries the beam angle — 15°, 24°, 36° or 60°. ⭐ On a restricted aperture a narrow module makes sense: a 60° wash mostly hits the inside of the frame.
  • ✅ And the five colour temperatures, including 2700 K.
  • ⚠ Allow for the module above: 50 mm of frame plus 56 mm (Trio) or 68 mm (DALI).
Choosing the finish

✅ Black is the usual choice on a restricted aperture — a dark interior stops it reading as a bright spot when the light is off. White disappears into a white ceiling but shows the aperture more.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
