The Captiva PE16 is a 970 mm sixteen-light LED pendant in black — integrated 48 W giving 2,064 lm at 3000 K, TRIAC dimmable, at 360 mm high and 3.8 kg.
⚠ It is 970 mm across — just under a metre. Our page never said so in a sentence; the figure sat in a specification row.
That makes it the manageable Captiva. The 24-light is 1,370 mm and needs a genuinely large table; at 970 mm the 16 suits an ordinary dining table without overwhelming it, and it still needs clear space to walls and cabinetry and careful centring.
⚠ And one correction: our datasheet records the suspension as 1,502 cm — fifteen metres. The 24-light records 150 cm, which is what this fitting will be: a stray digit.
The Captiva's idea is many small points rather than one large one:
48 W for 2,064 lm is 43 lm/W, which is low: the Hovin disc pendant reaches 101 and the Truvon 77.
That is the design, not a fault. Sixteen individually diffused glass elements absorb far more than a single large panel. The efficiency is the price of how the light is distributed and of what the fitting looks like.
2,064 lm will light a dining table well and is not enough to carry a large open-plan room — the 24-light gives half as much again. Read the lumens, not the wattage, when comparing it to anything else.
TRIAC, on an ordinary wall dimmer, full range. As it comes down the sixteen points separate: at full it is a broad wash, and low it becomes sixteen distinct warm points hanging over a dark table.
That effect only exists on a dimmer. Fit one.
⚠ 3.8 kilograms on a 180 mm canopy. That is a proper structural fixing — past a ceiling rose or a plasterboard anchor — and on a fitting nearly a metre wide the mount must also resist rotation and swing. Tell your electrician both the weight and the diameter before the ceiling is opened.
| Diameter | Height | Output | Weight | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PE16 | 970 mm | 360 mm | 2,064 lm | 3.8 kg |
| PE24 | 1,370 mm | 490 mm | 3,096 lm | 4.8 kg |
The range scales honestly — 50% more lights, 50% more light, 41% more width — which is worth saying because several ranges in this catalogue do not. So the choice is the size of the table: 970 mm for a standard dining table, 1,370 mm for a long one or a large open-plan room.
Nothing to buy and nothing to change. The LEDs are integrated, included and sealed at 3000 K — no sixteen globes to source, no matching problem, no flicker risk from mixed brands. In iron and glass, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only.
970 mm diameter by 360 mm high, canopy 180 mm with a 40 mm projection, suspension 1,500 mm, 3.8 kg — a structural fixing, in iron and glass, black. Integrated 48 W across 16 LEDs, giving 2,064 lm at 3000 K, included and sealed, TRIAC dimmable. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

970 mm across — just under a metre, and our page never said so in a sentence. That makes it the manageable Captiva: the 24-light is 1,370 mm and needs a genuinely large table, while at 970 this suits an ordinary dining table without overwhelming it. Check clearances to walls and cabinetry, and centre it carefully.
1,500 mm. Our datasheet records 1,502 cm — fifteen metres — which is a stray digit; the 24-light version records 150 cm correctly.
The range scales honestly — 50% more lights, 50% more light, 41% more width — so the choice is simply the size of the table. 970 mm for a standard dining table; 1,370 mm for a long one or a large open-plan room. 2,064 lumens will light a table well and will not carry a big open-plan space.
Light lands evenly across the table because it comes from sixteen places spread over nearly a metre rather than one point in the middle; shadows are soft, since many small sources fill in each other’s; and the fitting reads as a constellation rather than a solid object, which is why something this wide does not feel oppressive.
Sixteen individually diffused glass elements absorb far more than a single large panel — so at 43 lm/W it is less efficient than the Hovin disc at 101. That is the design, not a fault: the efficiency is the price of how the light is distributed and what the fitting looks like.
Fit one — it is the whole point. As it comes down the sixteen points separate: at full a broad wash, and low, sixteen distinct warm points over a dark table. That effect only exists on a dimmer, and it takes an ordinary TRIAC one.
A proper structural one — 3.8 kg on a 180 mm canopy, past a ceiling rose or plasterboard anchor, and on a fitting nearly a metre wide the mount must also resist rotation and swing.
