CAPSTAN 25 EXTERIOR WALL LIGHT

The Capstan 25 is a 255 mm exterior wall light in aluminium with a wood-look feature — French Provincial in character, taking one E27 globe.

Wood-look on aluminium, which is the whole trick

The Capstan reads as a timber-and-metal lantern and is entirely aluminium. Outdoors that matters enormously: real timber greys, splits and needs oiling; this does not rot, does not rust and does not need maintaining, while still giving a rendered or weatherboard facade the warmth that plain black metal cannot.

French Provincial, in a range that mostly is not

Most of this catalogue is contemporary. The Capstan is deliberately traditional — the right answer for a period cottage, a Hamptons-style entry or a rendered facade with classical detailing, where a minimal black box would look wrong.

Compact, with real projection

155 mm wide, 255 mm high, 175 mm projection, canopy 110 × 20 mm, 1.35 kg. It stands proud enough to throw light outward across a doorway rather than straight down the wall, without the 390 mm reach of the larger lanterns.

One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied

An ordinary replaceable globe — warm for an entry. Dimming is whatever the globe will do.

Two sizes

Capstan is made in two sizes; this is the 25. Ask us if the larger suits the facade better.
