Product Description
xThe Cantena Large is a 420 mm solid brass outdoor wall light with trapezoid clear glass on a simple arm, in antique brass or black.
It is splash rated, not weatherproof. Our sources say IP43 and IP44; we publish the lower. That covers rain and splashing on a wall — it does not cover direct hosing, a fully exposed post, or coastal salt spray, whatever the old copy said.
Solid brass is the reason to buy it
Most exterior wall lights are painted die-cast aluminium, which chalks and pits. Solid brass weathers instead of failing: the antique brass version will develop a patina over years outdoors, and the black version is brass painted, so a scratch reveals metal rather than substrate. That is why it weighs 4.1 kg.
Clear glass shows the globe
The trapezoid glass is clear, so the globe is part of the design. A decorative filament E27 suits the vintage frame; a plain frosted globe undercuts it. Globes are not supplied.
The family matches
Cantena is made in two wall sizes and as a pendant, all in the same solid brass. An entry with matching wall lights either side of a door and a pendant above it is a coherent scheme rather than three separate decisions.

- Garage and courtyard walls out of direct spray.

420 mm high, 250 × 250 mm, glass ø100 mm, in solid brass and glass. Weight 4.1 kg — check the wall fixing. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP43 — rain and splash only. Warranty is three years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. For a fully exposed or coastal position ask us about an IP65 fitting — brass will survive there, but the seal on this one is not rated for it.
Questions
Can it take full weather, or a coastal position?
No. It is rated IP43 — rain and splashing on a wall. It is not for direct hosing, an exposed post, or salt spray. The old copy overstated this and we have corrected it.
Why does it cost more than an aluminium light?
It is solid brass, not painted die-cast. Brass weathers to a patina instead of chalking and pitting, which is why it weighs 4.1 kg.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe up to 25 W. Choose a decorative filament globe — the glass is clear and the globe is visible.
Will the antique brass change colour outdoors?
Yes, gradually. That is the nature of brass, and on this finish it is part of the appeal.
Are there matching fittings?
Yes — Cantena is made in two wall sizes and as a pendant, all in the same solid brass.
How heavy is it?
4.1 kg. Check that your wall fixing suits before installation.
What is the warranty?
Three years.

xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
