Product Description
xThe Camero is a gypsum wall light — a half-circle shape with a sand-textured white finish. Gypsum is an unusual material for a light fitting and it is the reason to choose this one: it reads as part of the wall rather than as an object mounted on it.
A half-circle throws light up and down
The shape is open at top and bottom, so light washes the wall in both directions and the fitting itself stays dark in the middle. That gives a soft double scallop rather than a glare source at eye level — which is why it suits a hallway or a stairwell where you walk past it at close range.
Sand texture, and what that means in practice
The finish is matte and slightly rough, closer to a rendered wall than to a painted metal fitting. Against white or off-white walls it almost disappears when unlit. It also means a dry cloth is the only sensible way to clean it — liquid cleaners mark gypsum and will not come out.
Where it works
- Hallways and stairwells, at head height where a glare source would be uncomfortable.
- Bedheads, in pairs, as an alternative to bedside lamps.
- Living rooms, washing a feature wall from the middle of its height.
- Rendered and plastered interiors where a metal fitting would look applied.
Specifying it
It is 280 mm wide, 140 mm high and projects 140 mm from the wall — check that projection in a narrow hallway. It takes a single E14 globe up to 20 W, not supplied. It runs on 240 V, is IP20 — indoor and dry locations only, and is Class I, so an earth is required and a licensed electrician installs it. Warranty is three years.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
