Product Description
xThe Cadena FL is a 1,500 mm floor lamp on a slender iron frame — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied — in black or white.
A drawn line rather than an object
1,500 mm tall and only 130 mm wide, on a flat 250 × 25 mm plate. There is no shade mass and no column — the Cadena is a line with a light at the top of it. That is the whole idea: it stands in a corner or beside a chair without occupying it, and against a plain wall it reads as a graphic mark rather than furniture.
⚠ We hold no weight for it, and on this lamp that matters. A 1.5 metre frame on a 25 mm-thick plate is exactly the shape where weight decides whether it stays upright in a busy room. If you have children, pets or a narrow walkway, ask us for the weight before you order — we have chosen not to guess at it.
The base is a plate, not a disc
250 mm long and 25 mm thick. A flat plate sits flush under a rug or against a skirting in a way a domed base cannot, which is genuinely useful in a tight corner. It is also a smaller footprint than it sounds, so read the warning above alongside it.
Black or white, and they do different jobs
Black draws the line and is what you choose if you want to see the lamp. White disappears against a pale wall and is what you choose if you only want the light. On a fitting this slender the finish is close to the whole design decision.
You almost certainly do not need an electrician. It is Class II — double insulated — on a 2,000 mm cable. The old page carried an electrician requirement that belongs to hard-wired fittings.
The globe is yours to choose, and here that is the feature
One E27 to 25 W, not supplied. On a frame with no shade the globe is visible, so it is part of the look: a decorative filament globe suits the Cadena far better than a plain one. Dimming follows the same logic — a dimmable globe with a plug-in or inline dimmer will dim it; a plain globe will not. Our record carries no value at all against dimmable; the correct answer is globe dependent.

Will it tip over?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
