Product Description
xThe Burton 1Lt is a single-head GU10 spot light, ø100 mm, in white with chrome.
One head, so you can put light exactly where it is needed
A single spot is the most flexible fitting there is: add one where a dark corner needs light without committing a whole ceiling to a scheme. Several dotted through a room, each aimed independently, is a more considered result than one central fitting.
White, to disappear
On a white ceiling a white spot reads as almost nothing until it is on. If you want the fitting seen, the Alvey range covers black and gold-brushed black.
GU10 at 6 W, and the globe is yours
6 W maximum, 500 lm, 3000 K as supplied — but because the globe is a replaceable GU10, you can change the beam and the colour later. Narrow-beam globes give a tight pool for art; the standard 140° gives a broad wash.
A 140° spread is wide for a "spot"
Worth knowing before you buy: as configured this washes rather than pinpoints. If you want a defined beam on a picture, fit a narrow GU10.

How much power does it use?
6 W. An earlier version of this page said 9.5 W, which appears in neither of our sources and was wrong.
Is it really a spot light?
As configured it is a 140° wash rather than a pinpoint. Fit a narrow-beam GU10 if you want a defined beam on a picture.
Can I change the beam or colour?
Yes — the GU10 globe is replaceable, so the beam angle and colour temperature are yours to change.
Is there a multi-head version?
Yes — the Burton is also made as a three-head bar on a single ceiling point.
Is it dimmable?
No.
Why white?
On a white ceiling it recedes. The Alvey range covers black and gold-brushed black if you want the fitting seen.
What is the warranty?
Two years — shorter than most of the Telbix catalogue.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
