Product Description
xThe Brea 3 is a 75 × 75 mm square LED stair light recessed into a wall, 3 W, in aluminium or white, warm or cool.
Low-level light you do not look at
A stair light works by lighting the tread, not the room. Set into the wall at shin height, the Brea puts light on the step where your foot lands and leaves your eyes adapted to the dark — which is the entire point on a stair or a hallway at night.
A 120° spread across a step
Wide enough that a single light covers the full width of a normal tread, so you need one per few steps rather than one per step. On a long run, alternate sides for an even effect.
50 mm cut-out, 35 mm deep
It needs a 50 mm hole and 35 mm of depth behind the wall face — easily accommodated in a stud wall, which is worth confirming before you commit if you are cutting into masonry.
Colour is fixed by order code
-83 is 3000 K warm at 240 lm, -85 is
5000 K cool at 260 lm, in aluminium or white. Not switchable and
not dimmable. For a stair at night, warm is usually the better choice — it
disturbs dark-adapted eyes less.
IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. This is an internal stair light. It is not rated for an external stair, a porch step or anywhere exposed to weather.

What size hole does it need?
A 50 mm cut-out with 35 mm of depth behind the wall face. Straightforward in a stud wall; confirm before cutting into masonry.
How many do I need on a staircase?

Warm or cool?
Warm (3000 K) for a stair used at night — it disturbs dark-adapted eyes less. Cool (5000 K) is slightly brighter at 260 lm.
Can it go on an outdoor stair?
No. It is IP20 with no water protection — internal stairs only.
Is it dimmable?
No, and the colour temperature is fixed by order code rather than switchable.
Is there a globe to replace?
No. The LED is built in.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
