BLAST LED TRIO CEILING FAN LIGHT KIT

The BLAST LED TRIO light kit is an 18 W LED light module for the Domus BLAST ceiling fans, with switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K and dimming, both from the fan's remote, in white or black.

Control from the remote, not a dip switch

• ✅ Colour temperature is changed from the fan's 9-speed remote — not from a switch on the module.
• ✅ That is a real difference in daily use. Almost every switchable LED fitting in this catalogue is set once, on a ladder, before installation. This one is adjusted from the sofa, whenever the room's use changes.
• ✅ It dims from the remote too, which a fan light kit rarely does.
• ⚠ It depends on the fan's receiver. The kit has no independent control — if the remote is lost or the receiver fails, the light goes with it. ⚠ The receiver and remote carry a one-year warranty against the fan's three.

What 18 W under a fan gives you

• ⚠ No lumen figure is recorded in any source we hold. As a guide, an 18 W LED module of this kind is ambient light for a bedroom or a living room — not task lighting for a kitchen.
• ✅ It saves a second fitting in the room. A fan occupies the ceiling position a light would otherwise take; the kit puts them back in one place.
• ⚠ A fan light throws shadows that move. With the fan running, a single central light source under rotating blades produces a subtle flicker on the walls at some speeds. It is normal, it bothers some people and not others, and it is worth knowing before it is the only light in a bedroom.
• ✅ Dimming helps — at a low level the effect is far less noticeable.

Choosing the colour setting

• 3000 K — bedrooms and living rooms, which is where fans usually are. The default.
• 4000 K — a study, a rumpus room, a covered outdoor area.
• ⚠ 5000 K — rarely right under a fan in a home; it belongs in a workshop or a garage.
• ✅ Because it is remote controlled, you can try all three in the room rather than committing on a ladder. That is worth doing.

Buying it with the fan, or after

• ✅ Either works. Fitting the kit later means dropping the fan's lower cover, which is a short job for an electrician.
• ✅ Buying it with the fan is simpler — one delivery, one visit, and the electrician fits both at once.
• ⚠ Match the finish. White kit on a white fan, black on black — the kit sits directly under the motor housing and a mismatch is very visible.
