What an adaptor is doing in a bollard system
  • Bollard lighting is modular — a head, a post or spike, and the fixing between them. Domus sells the heads separately from the posts, which is why adaptors exist at all.
  • ✅ That modularity is genuinely useful: a damaged head can be replaced without digging out a post, and a post can be reused when a head is upgraded. On an established garden, where posts are set in concrete, that is the difference between a lighting job and a paving job.
  • ⚠ It also means an order can be short a part and nobody notices until the installer is on site.
  • ⚠ 60 mm refers to the fixing diameter, not the post. Many posts are narrower at the spigot than their visible diameter, so measure the spigot.

What is the difference between the BL-A1-60 and the BL-A2-60?

The head each one takes. This BL-A1-60 is for BL-100 series bollard heads; the BL-A2-60 is for the BL-200 and BL-300 series. Both are recorded at 70 × 70 × 30 mm, so the dimensions will not tell you them apart — order by the head, not by the size or the photograph.

Will it fit my post?

Send us a photograph of the post top and the measured spigot diameter and we will confirm with Domus. It is a 60 mm adaptor, but 60 mm refers to the fixing diameter rather than the post, and many posts are narrower at the spigot than their visible diameter. Measure the metal itself, not a collar or trim around it.

How do I know which head I have?

Send us a photograph of it, or the order code from a delivery docket if you have one. Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.
