Domus BF-7578 Raw Ceramic Interior Wall Light

The Domus BF-7578 is a 200 mm square raw ceramic wall light with an 80 mm height and a 200 mm projection, taking one E27 lamp and supplied unpainted.

⛔ Our record says this light changes colour. It does not.

The listing carries “colour changing technology: true”.

• ⛔ There is no LED in this product at all. It is a ceramic shell with an E27 lamp holder in it. There is nothing to change colour, no driver, no controller and no remote.
• ✅ What actually decides the colour of the light is the globe you screw into it — and that is entirely your choice. Buy a 2700 K lamp and it is warm; buy 4000 K and it is neutral.
• ⭐ You can have colour change if you want it — fit a smart E27 globe. The fitting will not object, because it is only a holder.
• ⚠ We flag this rather than quietly delete it, because the flag is what a filtered search would use to put this fitting in front of someone looking for a colour-changing light.

⛔ And two sources give two different maximum wattages

• The datasheet says 60 W. Our record says 20 W.
• ⭐ 11 of the 12 E27 raw ceramics in this range carry the identical conflict. The exception, the BF-2440, has a sheet genuinely reading “20 W CFL” — the likely source of the other eleven.
• ✅ We work to the datasheet’s 60 W; an E27 LED at 8–10 W sits under both.

Small thing, worth saying: this fitting gives all three dimensions — 200 mm wide, 80 mm high, 200 mm projection — where the BF-7310 and BF-7577 both leave the height blank. ⚠ Note the projection equals the width. This is a deep fitting for its size and stands 200 mm off the wall, so check it against a corridor.

• ⛔ E27, not E14.

• A living-room or hallway wall with clearance for a 200 mm projection.
• Either side of a doorway, matched as a pair — the square proportion suits it.
• ⚠ Not in a narrow corridor. 200 mm off the wall is a lot.
• ⚠ Not on a poorly finished wall.
