The Benito PE48 is a ø480 mm pendant in iron and acrylic — 24 W giving 1,570 lm, switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K, TRIAC dimmable — in black or white.

Colour AND dimming, which is a rarer combination than it sounds

Most tri-colour fittings are not dimmable, and most dimmable fittings are fixed in colour. Benito does both: pick the colour temperature at the fitting, then set the level from an ordinary TRIAC wall dimmer. Over a dining table that is the whole range of settings you actually want — 5000 K bright for homework, 3000 K dimmed for dinner, from one pendant.

480 mm across and only 270 mm deep

A broad, shallow form. That matters over a table: a deep pendant hangs into your eyeline, a shallow one of the same width covers the table without crowding it. On a 2,000 mm suspension it adjusts to whatever drop you want, with a 140 mm canopy.

Acrylic diffusion, and what it does

Iron frame, acrylic diffuser. Acrylic scatters light through the whole surface, so the pendant glows evenly rather than showing an LED strip through a gap. At 1,570 lm from 24 W — 65 lm/W, which is what a fully diffused fitting gives — it is bright enough to be a dining table’s main light, which the crystal pendants in this range are not.

Black or white, and they behave differently

White disappears into a white ceiling and lets the lit surface do the work. Black reads as a solid disc and anchors a table. At 480 mm that is a bigger decision than at 300.
