Product Description
xThe Beat is a simple, tall floor lamp — 1,500 mm high on a 250 mm base — in black, chrome or white. It is the plainest floor lamp in this range, and that is its usefulness: it does not compete with anything else in the room.
A quiet lamp is often the right lamp
In a room that already has a patterned rug, a feature pendant and art on the walls, another decorative object is one too many. The Beat provides light and a vertical line and nothing else, which is exactly what a busy room needs in the corner.
Three finishes to disappear into
White vanishes against a pale wall. Black reads as a thin dark line and suits a modern interior. Chrome picks up whatever is around it. All three are chosen to recede rather than assert.
Wattage — use the lower figure
Our sources disagree on the maximum globe wattage, so we publish the lower of the two: 40 W. Overrunning a fitting's thermal limit is the failure that matters, and with LED lamps 40 W of capacity is far more light than you will ever need. No globe is supplied.

We publish 40 W. Our sources disagree — one says 60 W — so we quote the lower figure, because overrunning a fitting is the dangerous direction.
What finishes are there?
Black, chrome or white — all chosen to recede rather than stand out.
Does it need an electrician?
No. It plugs into a normal socket.
Is it dimmable?
Globe dependent. Fit a dimmable globe and use a plug-in dimmer.
What is the warranty?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

- Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
