A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The 600mm Barline draws 9W on 24V and comes in black or white. It is the length most often used in sequence — three or four along a corridor, or a pair flanking an entry — because at 600mm each fitting is substantial enough to read as an element but short enough that repeating it does not overwhelm the wall.
Spacing is what makes or breaks that arrangement. Set too far apart, a row of linear fittings reads as separate lights with dark wall between them; set close, the wash joins into one continuous band. Neither is wrong, but they are different results and it is worth deciding which you want before the outlets are positioned.
Both part numbers run on 24V DC. They cannot be wired to 240V mains, and a 24V DC driver is required on the circuit and is not supplied. The fitting is Class 3, so no earth is required at the fitting itself.
Running several from one driver is normal and is part of why this fitting suits sequences — but the driver must be sized for the total load, and it is worth leaving headroom for a fitting added later rather than sizing it exactly to today's run.
The fitting is tri-colour, with 3000K, 4000K or 5500K selected on the fitting at installation. Colour rendering is above 80 CRI and the distribution is 180°, spreading light along the mounting surface rather than forward into the room. It is not dimmable.
Aluminium body with a Perspex diffuser, rated IP65 for dust and jetted water and IK08 for impact — suitable indoors, in bathrooms, and outdoors on both sheltered and exposed walls.
Because the fitting is surface mounted it must cover its own cable outlet, so set out the full 600mm before the outlet position is fixed. On a sequence, set them all out together and check the spacing on the wall with tape before anything is drilled — the rhythm is much easier to judge full size than on a drawing. Havit states that aluminium and 304 stainless fittings must not be installed within 5km of a salt water environment. The LED is integral, with rated lamp expectancy of >30,000 hrs. Installation is work for a licensed electrician.
9W, on 24V DC.
Yes, provided the driver is sized for the total load of the run.
Close spacing joins the wash into a continuous band; wider spacing reads as separate lights. Mark it out full size before drilling.
No.
Yes. It is rated IP65 and IK08.
