Product Description
xBarline 1500mm low-voltage wall light in black or white
The longest fitting in the Barline range — 1500mm drawing 23W on 24V, in black or white. At this size it is usually specified as part of a designed scheme rather than bought as a single light: lobbies, long corridors, stair walls, hospitality interiors and feature walls where a continuous line is the intent.
The 180° distribution washes the mounting surface along the fitting's whole length. Over a metre and a half that produces a substantial, even band of light, which is why the fitting shows up in commercial and multi-residential work as often as in houses.
24V DC — plan it as low-voltage infrastructure
Both part numbers run on 24V DC. They cannot connect to 240V mains and require a 24V DC driver that is not supplied. The fitting is Class 3, so no earth is required at the fitting itself.
On a project scale, treat the drivers as part of the design: where they sit, how they are accessed for service, what the total connected load is, and what cable size keeps voltage drop within tolerance across the run. Those decisions are cheap on paper and expensive after the linings are on.
Light and colour
Tri-colour, with 3000K, 4000K or 5500K selected on each fitting at installation. Colour rendering is above 80 CRI. The fitting is not dimmable, so any variation through the day has to come from switching rather than from level.
Across a scheme, colour temperature consistency is the thing to control. Because the setting is made per fitting, a single unit set differently is visible immediately in a line of otherwise matched fittings — build a check into the commissioning rather than trusting it was done right on the day.
Construction, siting and installation
Aluminium body with a Perspex diffuser, rated IP65 for dust and jetted water and IK08 for impact, so the same fitting can run from an interior corridor out onto a covered exterior walkway without a change of specification.
Set out the full 1500mm before the cable outlet is positioned, and mount level — over this length the eye reads any tilt against every horizontal in the space. Havit states that aluminium and 304 stainless fittings must not be installed within 5km of a salt water environment. The LED is integral, with rated lamp expectancy of >30,000 hrs. Installation is work for a licensed electrician.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
