Product Description
xThe Bally 8 is the smallest sphere in the Bally family — ø200 mm of blasted opal glass, against ø250 mm for the Bally 10 and ø300 mm for the Bally 12. Same design at three scales; this is the one for groups and tight spaces.
Small spheres want company
At ø200 mm a single Bally is a modest object. Three or five in a row over an island, or a cluster at staggered heights in a stairwell, is where it comes into its own. As a lone pendant over a dining table it will look undersized — step up to the 10 or the 12.
Two metres of suspension
It hangs on a 2,000 mm suspension, shortened at installation, from a small ø47 mm canopy. That combination — small canopy, long drop — is what makes it work in a cluster: the ceiling stays uncluttered and the spheres do the talking.
Blasted opal hides the lamp
The glass glows evenly with no visible globe and no bright spot from any angle, so it is comfortable at eye level. A plain globe is all it needs; a decorative filament is invisible inside it.
Where it works
- Kitchen islands, in rows of three or five.
- Stairwells and voids, clustered at staggered heights.
- Bedsides, hung low in place of table lamps.
- Small hallways and nooks where a larger sphere would crowd.
Specifying it
Sphere ø200 mm, canopy ø47 mm with 85 mm projection, suspension 2,000 mm. One E27 globe up to 25 W, not supplied. Effectively a 360° source. It runs on 240 V and is IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. In a cluster, vary the drops deliberately and measure them — staggered heights only look intentional when they are set, not guessed.

Should I buy one or several?
Several. At ø200 mm it is designed for rows and clusters. For a single fitting, choose the Bally 10 or 12.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe of up to 25 W, supplied separately. A plain globe is fine — the glass hides it.
How far does it hang?
2,000 mm of suspension, shortened at installation, from a small ø47 mm canopy.
What finishes are there?
Antique gold, black or nickel with opal matt glass, plus antique gold with Alabastro.
Can it go in a bathroom?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
