The Aurora PE40 is a 400 mm pendant in iridescent “rainbow” glass on black — 15 W giving 780 lm at 3000 K, TRIAC dimmable, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
400 mm wide by 434 mm high at 3.4 kg — a substantial glass form, and at this scale the iridescence is the point of the room rather than a detail in it. One of these over a dining table or in a stairwell is enough; you do not hang three.
“Rainbow” means iridescent — a surface treatment splitting reflected light into pinks, greens and golds that shift as you move. On a 400 mm surface that effect is large enough to read across a room, in daylight and unlit, which is what separates this from the smaller two. Lit, it settles into a warm glow with a colour edge.
⚠ 780 lumens is still a modest output for a 400 mm pendant. At 52 lm/W it is the most efficient of the three Auroras and less than half what a plain-glass pendant this size would give — the iridescent treatment absorbs the difference. Over a dining table at night it is enough; as a kitchen or room light it is not. Plan other light in the space.
An ordinary leading-edge wall dimmer — no remote, no app. On the largest Aurora, dimming does something specific: at low output the glass surface reads more strongly than the light, so the pendant becomes an object again rather than a source. Over a dining table that is exactly the evening setting you want.
It is Class I — earth required, hard-wired to a 150 mm canopy on a 2,000 mm adjustable suspension, at 3.4 kg. A licensed electrician installs it. No CRI figure is recorded for any Aurora — ask us if you need it.
200 mm (235 lm), 300 mm (580 lm), 400 mm (780 lm), all sharing the same glass and the same 3000 K. In a stairwell, the 400 at the lowest drop with the smaller two above it is the arrangement the range is designed for.
400 mm wide by 434 mm high, canopy 150 mm projecting 40 mm, suspension 2,000 mm and adjustable, 3.4 kg, in iron and iridescent glass. Integrated 15 W LED giving 780 lm at 3000 K, included, TRIAC dimmable. CRI is not recorded — ask us. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Yes. At 400 mm wide and 434 mm high the iridescence is the point of the room rather than a detail in it — one over a dining table or in a stairwell is enough. You do not hang three.

Yes, and that is the intended arrangement — in a stairwell, the 400 at the lowest drop with the 300 and 200 above it. All three share the same glass and the same 3000 K.

Yes — Class I, earth required, hard-wired, and it weighs 3.4 kg.
