The Aurora PE30 is a 300 mm pendant in iridescent “rainbow” glass on black — 12 W giving 580 lm at 3000 K, TRIAC dimmable, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
300 mm wide by 333 mm high at 2.6 kg. This is the size that works alone as well as in a group — big enough to hold a small dining table or a bedside, small enough to hang three over an island without crowding. The 200 mm needs company; the 400 mm is a statement. The 300 does both jobs.
“Rainbow” means iridescent: a surface treatment that splits reflected light into shifting colour. In daylight, unlit, the glass shows pinks, greens and golds that move as you walk past. Lit, that recedes into a warm glow with a colour edge. Very few pendants are worth looking at when they are off; this one is.
⚠ 580 lumens is a modest output. The iridescent treatment that makes the colour also absorbs a large share of the light — 48 lm/W where a plain glass pendant would give twice that. It is a decorative fitting: over a small table it will do, but plan other light in the room and do not expect it to light a kitchen.
An ordinary leading-edge wall dimmer — no remote, no app. Worth having: at low output the iridescence reads more strongly, so dimming does not just reduce the light, it changes the character of the glass.
It is Class I — earth required. Hard-wired to a 150 mm canopy on a 2,000 mm adjustable suspension. A licensed electrician installs it. No CRI figure is recorded for any Aurora size — ask us if you need it.
200 mm (235 lm), 300 mm (580 lm), 400 mm (780 lm). Hanging all three at staggered drops in a stairwell or over a long bench is what the range is built for, and because they share the same glass and the same 3000 K they read as one piece rather than three fittings.
300 mm wide by 333 mm high, canopy 150 mm projecting 40 mm, suspension 2,000 mm and adjustable, 2.6 kg, in iron and iridescent glass. Integrated 12 W LED giving 580 lm at 3000 K, included, TRIAC dimmable. CRI is not recorded — ask us. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
