Atico 1 Pendant Light

The Atico PE1 is a 150 mm single pendant in champagne or smoke glass — integrated 4 W LED giving 210 lm at 3000 K, on a 2,000 mm suspension.

Champagne or smoke — and they are genuinely different lights

Both are tinted glass, so both show the light source and both colour the light on its way out. But they do opposite things:

• Champagne — a warm golden tint. It adds warmth to an already-warm 3000 K source, so the light reads candle-like, and the fitting looks bright and jewel-like when lit.
• Smoke — a grey tint. It cuts and cools the output, so the light is dimmer and more restrained, and the fitting stays dark and object-like when it is off — which is the point of smoke glass.

If you want the pendant to be a light, choose champagne. If you want it to be an object that happens to light, choose smoke.

210 lumens — an accent, and it should be used in numbers

4 W, at 53 lumens per watt — modest, and the tinted glass is exactly why. This is not a room light and not a task light. A single Atico is a point of interest; three or five in a run over a bench, or in a stairwell, is a composition and starts to add up to useful light.

150 mm wide, 232 mm tall

Small and vertical, on a 120 mm canopy with 2,000 mm of adjustable drop. That proportion is what lets several hang close together without crowding — the eye reads them as a line of verticals rather than a row of blobs.

Iron and glass

The tinted glass over an iron frame, in antique gold. Note the source is visible through tinted glass — so hang it above eye level. Across a table at seated height, a visible 210-lumen point is uncomfortable to look at, and there is no diffuser option.

Where it works

• In runs of three or five over a bench or island, above eye level.
• Stairwells and hallway ends, as points of light.
• Alongside the fifteen-light Atico cluster in a connected space.
• ⚠ The source is visible — do not hang it at seated eye height.
• ⚠ Integrated LED, not dimmable — the tint you choose is the light you get.

150 mm wide by 232 mm high, canopy 120 mm, suspension 2,000 mm and adjustable, in iron and tinted glass, antique gold with champagne or smoke. Integrated 4 W LED giving 210 lm at 3000 K, included, CRI >80, not dimmable. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
