Product Description
xThe Ashford is a 273 mm exterior wall light in aluminium and polycarbonate — one E27 globe, IP44 — in black or corten.
It reaches 300 mm out
The number that decides where it can go. The Ashford is 215 mm wide and 273 mm tall but projects 300 mm — further than it is wide or tall. That deep reach throws light outward across a path or a doorway rather than down the wall behind it, which is exactly what you want over an entry. It also means it does not belong on a narrow walkway, where a shoulder or a car door will find it. Measure before ordering.
Corten, which weathers rather than degrades
The rust-toned corten finish is designed to look weathered from day one. Against render, timber cladding or natural stone it warms the facade in a way black metal does not, and it has no “new” phase to grow out of. Black is the graphic alternative — it disappears by day and lets only the light read at night.
Aluminium and polycarbonate together
Metal where it needs strength, plastic where it needs to resist the weather — so nothing rusts and the fitting keeps its shape. On a coastal or high-rainfall site that combination outlasts a painted steel lantern by years.
IP44 — covered positions. Its own specification says Outdoor (Covered Area): protection against splashing water from any direction. An eave, a porch, a covered walkway. For a fully exposed wall, ask us about the IP65 fittings.
One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied
An ordinary replaceable globe, so you choose the brightness and the colour temperature and can change them later. Dimming is globe dependent — our record says it does not dim, and the record is wrong. A sealed-LED exterior light fails as a whole fitting; this one you re-globe.

xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
