The Arvin 60 is a 620 mm LED vanity light with the LED built in — a very slim bar, only 25 mm high, for above a bathroom mirror. That slimness is the difference between it and the chunkier Foley: the Arvin reads as a line of light rather than a fitting.
Rated IP44, it is protected against splashing from any direction — the requirement for a fitting above a basin. Australian wiring rules set zones around baths and showers, and your electrician will confirm the fitting suits the position; above a vanity mirror is the normal one, not inside a shower enclosure.
It is 3 CCT — 3000 K, 4000 K or 5000 K, selected at installation. Over a mirror, 4000 K is usually right: it renders skin honestly for shaving and make-up without the clinical edge of 5000 K. With CRI above 83 colours read accurately, which is the specification that actually matters in a bathroom.
At 620 mm this suits a mirror of roughly 700 mm or wider, centred above it. The Arvin comes in other lengths as separate listings, so check the family if your mirror is a different size rather than forcing this one.
It is 620 mm wide, 25 mm high, projecting 100 mm, weighing 1.24 kg, in aluminium and polycarbonate. The 12 W LED is built in and supplied, giving 892 lm — no globe to buy or replace. It is not dimmable, runs on 240 V, and is Class I — an earth is required. Finishes are antique gold, black or chrome. Warranty is three years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Because it is non-dimmable, give it its own switch rather than a shared dimmed circuit.
Yes. It is IP44 — protected against splashing — and designed for above a vanity mirror. Your electrician will confirm it suits the wiring zone.
No. The 12 W LED is built in and supplied, giving 892 lm.
4000 K is usually right above a mirror — honest for shaving and make-up without being clinical. 3000 K is warmer, 5000 K cooler. It is set at installation.
Roughly 700 mm or wider, centred above. Other lengths are listed separately.
No. Put it on its own switch.
The Arvin is slimmer at 25 mm high and shorter at 620 mm. The Foley is 800 mm and deeper, for wider mirrors.
Three years, as a replacement warranty.
