Product Description
xAries is a round up/down wall light that throws light in two directions from a 60 mm diameter body — a narrow column of light up the wall and a matching one down. At IP65 it is rated for full outdoor exposure, so it suits an entry wall, a facade or a fence line where you want the wall itself to become the light source rather than a visible fitting.
The choice to make: colour temperature
Aries is five-colour selectable — 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K and 5700K — chosen at install, not switched later by the owner. On a house facade 2700K–3000K reads warm and domestic; 4000K and above reads commercial. Decide it per elevation and set every fitting on that wall to match, because two temperatures on one facade is the most common way an otherwise good install looks wrong after dark.
Where it works
- Entry and facade walls — the twin beams give symmetry either side of a door.
- Fence lines and boundary walls — IP65 handles direct rain and coastal weather.
- Alfresco and patio walls — 60° beams graze the surface rather than glare into the space.
Specifying it
Runs on 240V AC and wires straight to mains — no driver or transformer. Triac dimmable, so it works with a standard mains-dimming circuit; confirm the dimmer is a trailing-edge type rated for LED load. Available in black or white powder-coated aluminium, 60 mm diameter and 170 mm tall. Must be installed by a licensed electrician.

Questions
Does Aries need a driver or transformer?
No. It is a 240V AC fitting and connects directly to mains. Only the 12V DC members of this range need a driver, and Aries is not one of them.
Can I change the colour temperature after it is installed?
Not without access to the fitting. The five-colour selection is made during installation, so agree the temperature with your electrician before they close up the wall.
Is it suitable near the coast?
IP65 covers water ingress, but salt exposure attacks the powder coat over time. Within a few hundred metres of surf, a 316 stainless fitting is the longer-lasting choice; rinse painted aluminium periodically with fresh water.
Does it come with a globe?
No globe is needed or possible — the LED is built in and not user-replaceable. There is nothing to buy separately and nothing to change later.
Can it be dimmed?
Yes, it is Triac dimmable on a 240V mains dimmer. Use a trailing-edge LED dimmer and check the dimmer's minimum load — a single low-wattage fitting on an oversized dimmer can flicker at the bottom of the range.

Warranties, Return & Refund Policy
xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
