Product Description
xThe Argos PE5 is a 650 mm five-light pendant with cylindrical fabric shades on an antique gold frame — black or ivory shades — five E27 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
This is the same size as the three-light Argos, and gives nearly twice the light. Both are 650 mm wide and 280 mm high. The five-light simply carries five shades instead of three on the same frame.
No source says this, and it is the most useful fact about the range. If your ceiling position, your table or your sightlines are fixed and you want more light, you can have it without a bigger pendant. Almost no other range in this catalogue offers that — usually more light means more size.
Five cylindrical shades — and what the arrangement does
The Argos is five separate opaque cylinders on one frame, not a single shade with five globes in it. Light goes straight down and straight up from each and none escapes sideways.
So you get five defined pools on the surface below rather than a broad wash. Over a table that is a sharper, more architectural effect than a drum pendant, and it means the fitting lights the table without lighting the room. Plan other light if the room needs it.
650 mm — the domestic size
650 mm wide by 280 mm high, at 3.1 kg. That suits a normal dining table or a kitchen island — where the 850 mm eight-light wants a long table. At 125 W maximum across five globes there is ample output for a dining room.
Black or ivory shades, on antique gold
Because the shades are opaque, the colour changes the object, not the light:
- Ivory — soft and tonal against the gold; warm, quiet, and the cylinders nearly merge into the frame.
- Black — graphic; five dark cylinders on a gold frame, and the fitting reads as a deliberate object even unlit.

Dimming depends on the globes — our record says “No”, the datasheet says globe dependent, and the datasheet is right. Over a table it is worth having, and five LEDs on one dimmer is where mismatched brands flicker: ask us for a matched set.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
