The Argos PE3 is a 650 mm three-light pendant with cylindrical fabric shades on an antique gold frame — black or ivory shades — three E27 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
⚠ Before you choose this over the five-light, read this. The five-light Argos is exactly the same size — 650 mm wide, 280 mm high — and gives nearly twice the light on the same frame.
So choosing the three-light does not save you any space. Choose it because you want three shades rather than five visually, or because 75 W is enough light — not to fit a smaller pendant, because it is not one. No source says this, and it is the most useful thing to know about the range.
The Argos is separate opaque cylinders on one frame. With three rather than five across the same 650 mm, the shades sit further apart — so the fitting reads as more open and less dense, and you see more of the antique gold frame between them.
That is a genuine visual difference, not just a count. If you want the frame to be part of the composition, three is the version; if you want a solid rhythm of shades, five is.
Each cylinder is opaque fabric, so light goes straight down and straight up and none escapes sideways. You get three defined pools on the surface below rather than a wash — sharper and more architectural than a drum pendant.
At three globes, that means three pools with gaps between them. Over a table of about 1.2 metres that is right; over a longer one, the gaps show, and the five-light fills them.
Three globes, hidden. Three E27 to 25 W, none supplied. The opaque fabric hides them, so the choice is brightness and warmth only — use warm 2700 K, because cool white against antique gold reads green.
Dimming depends on the globes — our record says “No”, the datasheet says globe dependent, and the datasheet is right. Ask us for a matched set of three.
2.18 kilograms — the lightest of the three Argos pendants, and light enough for a standard ceiling fixing. Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only.
Argos comes as a wall light, a table lamp and pendants, all with the same cylindrical shade. Because the shade is the element you look at, a pendant, a wall light and a table lamp match exactly across a room.
650 mm wide by 280 mm high, suspension 2,000 mm and adjustable, 2.18 kg, in iron and fabric, antique gold with black or ivory shades. Three E27 globes to 25 W each — 75 W total, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

Yes — Argos comes as a wall light, a table lamp and pendants with the same cylindrical shade, so they match exactly across a room rather than approximately.
