Arezzo 240Cm Linear Pendant Light

The Arezzo PE240 is a 2,400 mm linear pendant in black or silver — 80 W giving 8,690 lm at 3000 K, TRIAC dimmable — on a 2,000 mm suspension.

8,690 lumens — this lights a room, and then some

80 W at 109 lm/W, which is efficient, and in absolute terms it is an enormous amount of light for a pendant — roughly four times what a typical decorative fitting gives, and about what you would get from eight or nine downlights. Over a long table or an island, the Arezzo is the lighting scheme, not a part of it.

2.4 metres — measure before you order

2,400 mm long, 70 mm wide, 140 mm deep. That is a serious span: it wants a table or bench of at least 2.6 metres to look right, and it will dominate anything shorter. If your table is under two metres, the 1,500 mm Arezzo is the one.

Aluminium, iron and polycarbonate

Aluminium doing the structure and shedding the heat that 80 W produces, with a polycarbonate diffuser running the full length — which is what gives an unbroken line of light instead of a row of visible LEDs. Polycarbonate rather than acrylic matters over that span: it does not yellow.

3000 K, fixed, and rightly so

No colour selection — warm white throughout, CRI above 80. On a fitting this bright, warm is the only sensible choice: 8,690 lm of cool white over a table would read as a commercial kitchen.

Black or silver

Black reads as a strong drawn line against a pale ceiling and anchors a long table. Silver is lighter and more industrial. Over 2.4 metres that choice is unusually visible — there is a lot of fitting to see.

• Long dining tables — 2.6 metres and up.
• Kitchen islands and commercial-scale benches.
• Large open living spaces needing one strong fitting.
• ⚠ Specify a TRIAC dimmer — it is very bright at full.
• ⚠ Under two metres of table, choose the 1,500 mm Arezzo.
